More than a dozen dolphins photographed by aerial photography in Xiamen are Chinese white dolphins, which are national first-class protected animals. There are more than 1000 Chinese white dolphins in the world, and it is very lucky to photograph them. In fact, not only the Chinese white dolphin, but also the living conditions of many marine creatures are quite pessimistic. As ordinary people, we can do the following things to protect marine life.

First, low-carbon life Because the carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere is increasing year by year, the ocean will absorb carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, leading to the gradual acidification of the ocean. Ocean acidification will damage marine life and even the whole ecosystem, so we should advocate and practice low-carbon life to help improve and slow down the speed of ocean acidification. Low-carbon life is a way of life and an environmental responsibility. The specific contents include turning off the lights, taking fewer elevators and climbing more stairs, reducing the use of plastic bags and wood products, taking public transport as much as possible when going out, not using air conditioners excessively, and saving water.

Second, protect the beach environment Many people like to go to the beach to play, but some tourists have poor environmental awareness. They throw all kinds of rubbish such as plastic bags and beverage bottles on the beach, which will be carried into the sea by the waves, thus posing a threat to the sea and marine life. Therefore, when you go to the seaside in the future, you must be careful not to litter, pack the garbage and take it away before you leave, and don't make the beach scarred. In addition, if you have time, you can participate in relevant beach cleaning public welfare activities and clean up the garbage on the beach with other volunteers.

3. Don't buy marine life prohibited by law If you want to protect marine life, don't buy marine life prohibited by law, including tortoises, sea turtles, seahorses, sharks, nautilus, red corals, etc. Once someone is found selling these marine life, they should report it to the local public security organ or fishery administration department.

4. Don't touch marine life. When we play on the beach or shallow sea, we don't touch marine life, including all kinds of corals, starfish and turtles. The reason why we don't touch marine life is to avoid spreading bacteria or viruses on land to them. At the same time, corals and other creatures are very fragile and will be damaged when touched.
