Influenced by the explorer, I wrote 200 words.

The shock caused by the unfortunate death of the famous adventure traveler Yu Chunshun in Lop Nur, Xinjiang is still lingering. At that time, the author went through the whole process of burying Yu Chunshun. In October and February of this year, I visited Lop Nur twice and paid my respects to Yu Chunshun's tomb, which was in a dry lake basin.

1June, 996 18, People's Daily (Overseas Edition), Xinjiang Daily, China Youth Daily and other newspapers published the news that "Explorer Yu Chunshun was killed in Lop Nur" by the telegraph of "Xinhua News Agency Urumqi June 18".

As an explorer in Lop Nur and general manager of international travel service in Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, Wu led Chinese and foreign explorers, scientists and archaeologists to cross Lop Nur and Loulan 17 times. He received Yu Chunshun four times and became his bosom friend. Two days before entering the new century, he described to the author the detailed process of burying Yu Chunshun, many of which were little known.

1June 6, 1996 Yu Chunshun left Korla for Lop Nur. I buried him in June 18.

On the evening of June 15, I was having dinner at a relative's house in Tiekeqi Township, which is dozens of kilometers away from downtown Korla. The pager on the waist rang, leaving a message: something happened in Lop Nur, please come back quickly. What happened? I am very anxious. I rushed back to the unit without eating, only to know that Yu Chunshun suddenly disappeared after entering Lop Nur and lost all contact. I immediately turned on the radio and asked around, but I didn't get any news. At this time, the national leaders were also anxious, and they held a meeting to study and tried their best to find Yu Chunshun. That evening, I drafted an urgent telegram and sent it to Urumqi in the name of the state government, asking the people's government of the autonomous region to help us find Yu Chunshun.

The next morning, accompanied by photographer Yang Hong, I went to Lop Nur car by car. After a day and a night's trekking, I arrived at a base camp forward bridge leading to the forefront of Lop Nur. At this time, under the concern of the people's government of the autonomous region and the state government, an aircraft of an aviation unit of the Army just flew back here. The plane has flown into Lop Nur twice to search, but no trace of Yu Chunshun has been found. Captain Sun Gang personally participated in the search for Peng, and accumulated some flying experience in Taklimakan Desert and Lop Nur. After flying in Lop Nur twice, he didn't see anyone or anything suspicious, so he decided to fly to Lop Nur for the third time. This time, he flew as low as possible and circled many times at low altitude. About two hours later, he found a fan-shaped blue tent in the shade of a barren mountain in the middle of Lop Nur. However, due to the lack of fuel, the plane had to return to refuel immediately, take off soon and fly into Lop Nur for the fourth time.
