When and where are the winter jasmine flowers most abundant in Beijing?

There are many flowers worth seeing in spring, and there are many places where you can see jasmine flowers in major parks in Beijing. In another month, the best viewing period of winter jasmine will come. I believe many people want to see flowers. Specific viewing locations are recommended.

Beihai Park Qionghua Island The "Qiongdao Spring Sound" is one of the eight scenic spots in Yanjing. The tall white marble stele on the island is engraved with the four characters "Qiongdao Chunyin", which is the handwriting of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.

Jasminum japonica is located at the small north gate of Beihai Park, with water in the front, mountains in the back, and trails in the east. It has excellent depth of field and is very popular with photographers.

Jingshan Park

Opening hours:

November to March, 6:30 am to 20:00 pm, 19:30 pm.

April-October 6:30am-21:00pm and 20:30pm.

Jingshan Park has towering ancient trees, unique peaks, majestic halls and a variety of flowers. There are five pavilions on the mountain. The middle peak, Wanchun Pavilion, is located at the commanding heights of Beijing's central axis. The time and place are favorable. Jingshan's jasmine flowers are distributed throughout the garden, with scattered plant shapes, soft branches, arched and drooping, golden and lovely colors. Wang Tower is located at the foot of Jingshan Mountain. In the Ming Dynasty, there used to be a five-bay hall here, which was called the Shanqian Hall. It used to be a banquet hall where the emperor entertained guests. The spring flowers in front of Qiwang Tower add a touch of spring to the ancient building. On the other hand, the winter jasmine flowers on Jingshan Mountain Road accompany the tourists, adding a touch of spring. Climbing to the Wanchun Pavilion overlooking the city, you can have a panoramic view of the ancient Forbidden City and the new look of modern Beijing.

Ming City Wall Ruins Park

Opening hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (ticket sales stop at 4:30 pm), closed every Monday.

The Ming City Wall Ruins Park starts from Beijing Station East Street in the east and ends at Chongwenmen in the west. The winter jasmine flowers in Ming City Wall Ruins Park are not necessarily more abundant or better than those in other places. The important thing is that the winter jasmine flowers are more beautiful against the gray bricks of the ancient city wall.

In addition, at the foot of the Ming City Wall, there are many ancient trees, most of which are locust trees. With the ancient trees in the old city in the background and the spring scenery in the foreground, a beautiful picture unfolds before your eyes, which makes people feel relaxed and happy!

East Second Ring Road Urban Greenway

Opening hours: all day

If you don’t have time to enjoy spring in the park, take a stroll along the East Second Ring Road or Cycling is also great. You don’t have to look for it, you can find spring on the road. Spring flowers are scattered throughout the Second Ring Road in Beijing. The most abundant scenery is from Chaoyangmen Bridge to Dongbianmen Bridge, which is several kilometers long. The yellow and beautiful spring flowers are even more beautiful against the backdrop of pines and cypresses. Their branches seem to "bend down" to greet passers-by.
