Photographers can also occupy an important position in art ... so it is necessary for us to organize a young photography team. How great it is to become an advanced team of juvenile photography! How interesting! "

193 1 After the September 18th Incident, he participated in editing the anti-imperialist news, the organ of the anti-imperialist major league, and the Young Pioneers, the organ of the Beiping Youth Team.

1934 After graduating from university, he was hired as an officer by the Beijing YMCA and then went to work for the Tianjin YMCA.

1936 After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in Suiyuan, he went to the front to interview and was active inside and outside the Great Wall. He wrote many newsletters with photos and published them in World Knowledge, such as Suiyuan Military Geography, Suidong Frontline Inspection, Cluster Ning to Taolin and so on. At this time, Fang Daceng "has become a famous journalist who galloped inside and outside the Great Wall and reported patriotic deeds of saving the country" (the first series of News Research Materials, page 66).

1937 after the lugouqiao incident, he successively served as a photojournalist of the Chinese and foreign news society (hereinafter referred to as the Chinese and foreign news society), a photojournalist of the national news agency (hereinafter referred to as the national news agency) and a war correspondent of Ta Kung Pao, and went to the front to cover.

On July 1937 and 10, on the third day after the outbreak of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, he went to the front line of Marco Polo Bridge for an interview and wrote a long report, The Story of Marco Polo Bridge's Anti-Japanese War, which was published with photos.

They had to retreat to Changxindian because the road was blocked, and then returned to Baoding along Pinghan Line on the 30th. According to the record in Fan Changjiang's reminiscence article Yi Xiaofang: "... with the deterioration of the Ping-Han War, Baoding fell. We don't know his news or where the remittance is sent. I asked my relatives and wrote back that when Xiaofang arrived in Baoding, Baoding fell. He was forced to retreat to Lixian County, southeast of Baoding. Lixian sent a letter. There will be no following ... ". Fang Daceng's last newspaper article was1The Change of Northern Pinghan Section published in Ta Kung Pao on September 30th, 937. I haven't heard from you since.
