How to make full-length portrait photos bright and eye-catching?

Photography and painting are both visual arts. The composition perspective of photography, also called "perspective method", actually borrows the skills of painting composition perspective, which is called horizon, profundity and sublimity, and is widely used in China landscape painting. Used in photography, it is called looking up, bowing down and looking up.

Pingyuan is standing on the horizon, looking at the reference object from near and far, and looking at the scenery from near and far is small, which conforms to the natural truth and has a very prominent sense of hierarchy.

Far view is a top-down and front-to-back view, which is equivalent to overlooking and can show the sense of depth and space of the object.

Looking up from the bottom is equivalent to looking up, which helps to show the tall and straight image of the object.

Portrait photography and landscape photography are different in subject matter, but similar in skill.

How to take a dazzling full-length photo? With my experience, I can do the following four things.

First, when taking a full-length photo, if it is a head-up angle, you must regard your eyes as the "visual center".

"Visual center" is the focus of observation. If the eyes are the visual center, the portrait will have a kind, natural and real feeling, and it is easy to grasp the close-up of the face.

Second, if you want to make the portrait look like a sculpture, you should shoot sideways at an angle of 45-60.

Because when taking a photo from the front, the portrait is exactly 90 degrees from the camera, although it can fully show the proportion of the whole body, but the portrait taken is flat and lacks a sculptural three-dimensional sense. Especially for women, they can't show their proud S-shaped figure. So try to let people face the camera sideways, so as to better shoot the outline of the whole body and show a sense of rhythm.

Moreover, sideways shooting is also conducive to capturing the light and shadow changes of the portrait face, leaving a "light and dark dividing line" for the face, making the face half in the light and half in the dark, highlighting the rhythm changes.

Third, if you want to show the portrait's straightness and slender legs, you'd better shoot it from the perspective of looking up.

Some people who are not tall can make up for their height disadvantage and become taller as soon as they look up.

For some women who love beauty, this kind of shooting helps to highlight the lines of legs, and it is easy to shoot a pair of long legs, making the figure look more slender and slim.

Of course, when looking up, the background behind the portrait must not be too messy, otherwise, it is easy to pretend to be the master. For example, a pile of green plants, a white wall and a blue sky are all good backgrounds.

Fourth, the shooting environment must be selected when taking full-length photos of characters, which helps to reflect the feeling of "harmony between man and nature".

When taking a full-length photo, the portrait is the main body and the environment is the foil. However, the full-length portrait must be integrated with the environment behind it to form a complete picture, which will make the photos richer, more interesting and more attractive.

The simpler the shooting environment, the better. It is best to choose natural scenes with single color, such as blue sky, seaside, grassland, desert and snow. Because of their single color, if we take a reasonable composition and perspective to shoot, it will be easy for people to integrate with nature without stealing the limelight.
