On February 9th, Zhang Yihao set off from Changzhou by train and started his first trip in 2022. This time, he is expected to stay in Lanzhou for two or three days to experience the local customs.
For this 26-year-old boy, train travel has long been a part of his life. Starting from college, he traveled to more than 600 counties and cities in China by train in seven years. The train ticket alone cost about 6.5438+0.5 million, and he wrote 25 travel diaries, with a train mileage of 570,000 kilometers.
"I travel alone, with Mohe in the north, Sanya in the south, Kashgar in the west and Fuyuan in the east." Yihao Zhang, born in 1996, recalled that when he was a child, he first took a train with his grandparents, and he fell in love with the sonorous voice. He hoped to travel all over the country by train until he went to college, and "his dream might come true".
The reporter learned that during his seven-year journey, Yihao Zhang would write a diary, draw his own illustrations and record what he saw and heard in the most primitive way. Only 25 books were recorded in the diary.
In addition, out of his obsession with the railway, every time he takes the train, he will ask the train conductor to sign it as a souvenir. Today, his diary has been signed by more than 3,800 train conductors from all over the country, and a large number of railway staff have also signed their wishes in his lonely trip.
Talking about the harvest of train travel, Yihao Zhang said, "During the seven-year trip, I met many people and witnessed the development of the railway." For example, he said he was from Shanxi. He once took the first Zhengzhou-Taiyuan high-speed train to and from Zhengzhou and Jincheng. "In the past, many places were desolate and there were no trains. Now there are even high-speed trains, which invisibly narrowed the distance between people and promoted economic development."
After all, traveling costs money. When asked about the cost of travel, Yihao Zhang said that "it costs 1 10000 to buy a train ticket for four years". He explained that in addition to studying, most of his university time was spent on travel and part-time jobs. "I did odd jobs, sold bottles and graduated from college. I also saved 6.5438+0.5 million yuan. " Zhang Yihao even figured out which waste collection point has a higher bottle price. Up to now, in more than seven years, Yihao Zhang has spent about 6.5438+0.5 million on train tickets.
Because of his natural love for trains, Zhang Yihao took up a job related to train motors after graduation, and was affectionately called "Brother Train" by netizens because of his unique travel experience. He said that after he joined the work, his free time was much less than when he was in college, but he still took time to continue traveling by train and travel all over Qian Shan.
