How to choose a film camera

When choosing a film camera, you need to pay attention to shutter optional priority, aperture optional priority and full optional (full manual) metering.

1, shutter optional priority

The function panel in the viewfinder displays the maximum aperture to the minimum aperture. When shooting, choose the shutter speed you want to use, and the inside of the viewfinder will show which aperture you should choose to match the correct exposure. This metering mode is more suitable for shooting all kinds of dynamic pictures with shutter as the main feature.

2, aperture optional priority

The function panel in the viewfinder shows the shutter speed from slowest to fastest. Select the aperture you want to use when shooting, and the pointer in the viewfinder will indicate which shutter speed to choose to match. This metering mode is more suitable for shooting static figures and scenes dominated by apertures.

3, all optional (manual) measurement

There is no indication of shutter or aperture in the view frame, only "+O-" indicates overexposure, correct exposure and underexposure. You can choose to decide the shutter or aperture first, and then adjust another item to get the correct exposure. This metering mode can be changed according to the needs of photographers to cope with various occasions, which of course requires more skilled photography skills.

Imaging principle of film camera

1, imaging and focus adjustment

From right to left, the lens assembly consists of lens, shutter, lens group 1, lens group 2 and negative. The photographed image is projected onto the substrate along the optical path for imaging. The focusing system and shutter system in the module are composed of lens group 1 and electronic shutter, which are connected together. Driven by the motor, the lens group 1 and the shutter can move back and forth to adjust the focal length, thus obtaining the clearest image, and the exposure time is controlled by the shutter.

2. Image acquisition

Film camera uses silver salt (mainly silver bromide AgBr) photosensitive material attached to plastic film as carrier. After shooting, the film has to be developed to get the photos. When shooting, it is impossible to know whether the shooting effect is good or not, and the photos cannot be deleted.
