Waterfalls and streams are people's favorite subjects. We know that high-speed shutter can capture the moment of water; Similarly, slow door speed can be used to photograph the movement track of water, waterfalls can be photographed as tulle, and streams can be photographed as mist. Today we are going to talk about the skills of shooting waterfalls and streams slowly!

1. exposure mode. It is best to use shutter priority mode. Experienced photographers can also use automatic mode. The shooting effect can be easily controlled. If you like the clear water texture, choose a faster shutter speed; If you like the silky effect of milk, choose a slower shutter speed.

2. Shutter speed. The appropriate shutter speed can be selected according to the characteristics of water. When shooting waterfalls, the shutter speed is about 1/3 to 4 s; When shooting a code stream, the shutter speed can be selected between 1s and 10s. What is the appropriate shutter speed? There is no fixed number. You can shoot more when shooting until you are satisfied with the effect.

Use a tripod. Because the shutter speed is slow, it is necessary to use a tripod, and it is best to use a cable to release the automatic anti-shake function of closing the lens to avoid possible vibration.

4. composition. It is necessary to appropriately increase the prospects, such as stones in streams, trees and buildings along the river. The main purpose is to increase the content of the picture, and at the same time, through dynamic and static contrast, it will have a strong visual impact.
