Pictures can span time and space and photography can solidify history. From September 30th, 2007 to1October 20th 10, a large-scale historical photo exhibition "China before and after the May 4th Movement" was exhibited in the exhibition hall on the second floor of our library. The photo (photo) was written by Sidney David gamble (1890- 1968), who lived in China four times during the period of 1908- 1932, and traveled all over North China, East China and Southwest China, taking more than 5,000 black and white photos. This time, 2 10 pictures were selected for the exhibition. The cartoons, leaflets and other current cultural relics provided by our library before and after the May 4th Movement, as well as folk cultural relics such as foot-binding shoes and coin makers, have enriched the exhibition contents.
