Does anyone still use film cameras?

Of course, I'm using it. It used to be Minolta X-700, but now it's Canon AE- 1, and it's also playing Fuji Polaroid. Compared with digital cameras, film cameras have many irreplaceable places, and many big-name photographers in the world are still shooting with film.

There are many kinds of popular films now, that is, 135mm (equivalent to the size of the photosensitive element of a full-frame camera now) was used for a fool camera. There are also some 120mm medium format and large format films.

There are still many film manufacturers in production, but most of them are foreign, and the quantity and scale are definitely not as good as before. Of course, there were many films left in those years, and some people still like to take pictures with expired films.

Now is the electronic age, with the partial perfection of digital technology, the film will only shrink slowly and will not be swept away again. After all, there are too many defects compared with digital cameras.

There are many places to wash, and photo studios generally have washing services. In addition, it can also be directly scanned into an electronic version after development. Of course, these costs are higher than film (around 30 yuan).

As for clarity, it depends on many factors: diagonal, jitter, aperture and so on. But film and digital image are more difficult, because film is chemical imaging, that is, light reacts with chemical elements in the negative, so the film has no pixels. Of course, from the perspective of human observation, a high-quality 135 reverse film is divided into 560 million pixels.

Good-looking people have different opinions. Film is chemical imaging, so there will be great color difference from practice, but the color will be richer and the digital camera will be more realistic and blunt. Generally speaking, Japanese style is fresh, German taste Lycra, European and American portraits, and all styles have their own color preferences; Digital pursuit is neutral reduction, which is convenient for various later stages. .

Not to mention the comparison of the photos I took.
