How to shoot 5d3 multiple exposures?

The setting of 5d3 multiple exposure can be divided into addition, average, bright and dark, and can be set as required. Multiple exposure is a technical method in photography, which uses two or more independent exposures and then overlaps them to form a photo.

1. Add

"Addition" is like a film camera, which simply adds up multiple images. Because there is no exposure control, the synthesized photos are brighter than before. In practical use, 5D3 can set negative exposure compensation, such as secondary exposure, and can set-1 level to avoid overexposure. Three exposures-1.5, four exposures -2.

average

"Average" controls the brightness of photos when synthesizing, automatically compensates the number of photos taken by multiple exposures, and adjusts the synthesized photos to the appropriate exposure.

Become smart

"Bright" means that only bright pixels are synthesized after comparing the basic image with the image synthesized on it. The "bright" superposition mode only selects a maximum exposure value for each pixel in multiple images, instead of adding the exposure value.

4. Darkness

Dark is the antonym of light. After comparing the basic image with the image synthesized on it, only darker pixels are synthesized.
