How are wedding photos printed?

Wedding photos are printed with silver salt or with a printer.

In terms of photo quality, the traditional silver salt printing effect is better than that of the printer.

Although the ink droplets ejected by the printer can reach at least 1.5pl now, compared with the traditional printing method, the particles are still relatively large. When a printer prints photos, in addition to the printer's own performance, the printing quality will also be affected by factors such as photographic paper (ink penetration), ink, color management software and drivers. Traditional printing methods do not have these problems.

Although the resolution of traditional printed matter is particularly high, the human eye can only distinguish 300dpi. No matter how high the resolution is, the human eye can't distinguish the smallest detail.

At present, ink-jet printers can easily print more than 300dpi. In this respect, the definition of photos printed by inkjet printers can almost be comparable to that printed by traditional methods. But the printer prints photos very quickly, and it can be completed in a few minutes. At the same time, the cost of printing photos by a printer is very low.

At present, in addition to photography competitions, exhibitions and other occasions that require strict photo quality, traditional printing methods are also used, which have almost been replaced by inkjet printers.
