Notebook is becoming a working tool more and more. With limited performance, ThinkPad X22 quickly became HP's NX6 130 15 inch commercial notebook. Five years later, the screen line and axis of NX6 10 began to have problems. After that, I threw myself into Apple's arms and started the macbook pro 13. Apple notebook is usually connected to the monitor of the office as the main office. 15 inch big guy is really not light. In fact, the concept of two-in-one notebook product has been put forward for many years, but in order to provide excellent experience, the product must first have ultra-low power consumption and enough processors to meet daily office performance; Provide battery life that can be used for a whole day; Excellent keyboard feel, highly integrated portable body; For me who like photography, a good screen is also necessary. During the three-week trial, I experienced daily office and short-distance business trip, so I'll tell you how to use this machine. Let's start with design.

After removing the outer packaging, I got X 1T (hereinafter referred to as it), which looks like a book lying there quietly. The first question I met was which side of the machine is the front? What I look like is actually the back of the detachable keyboard, while the front with ThinkPad LOGO looks like the back because of the folding bracket. So I very much hope that in the future design, I can make an obvious ThinkPad LOGO on the back of the keyboard, so that I can exert myself to the maximum extent.

X 1T body is 12.5 inch tablet computer. It has a 2K high-resolution screen and a very bright color display. It is absolutely no problem to look at a picture or something at ordinary times. Because it is a mirror screen, the reflection problem will be more serious at ordinary times, so pay attention to avoid interfering light sources. Front 2 million cameras, rear 8 million cameras. I don't need them at all I haven't opened it once. I guess video chat or something is definitely enough.

Some people on the Internet have complained about the design of the rear bracket, saying that it is not as easy to use as Microsoft Sophie. I can only say it's bullshit. In fact, the reverse bracket design of X 1T is more convenient for high-speed rail beds, knees and small dining tables. The larger the angle, the stronger the overall feeling. I simply can't put it down for this support design of X 1T, who knows. There is a TF card slot hidden behind the bracket, which can expand the body capacity, but I hope this is a standard SD card reader, which is more perfect for photographers.

There is a USB 3.0 interface, a Type C interface (which is also powered by an external power supply) and a miniDP interface (which is an external display) on the right side of the body. In my opinion, the interface design is completely adequate. An earphone interface is designed at the upper right side of the fuselage. From a practical point of view, I prefer that this interface can be designed at the bottom, so that after the earphone is inserted, the earphone cable will not hang in the air and affect the situation. There is also a contact fingerprint reader on the right side of the fuselage. After entering the fingerprint into the system, every time it is turned on, it becomes a pleasure. Touch the fingerprint reader with your finger, and the system will be full with a whoosh.

From the overall design feeling, I am satisfied with X 1T itself, but when the independent keyboard and the main body are combined into a notebook, the grid is improved at once. Suddenly I feel X22 is back, thinner and smaller. Well, that's the feeling.

Talking about performance

Any talk about performance that is not used is hooliganism. As a productivity tool, you should be able to work. At ordinary times, the 10 page is basically opened in seconds at the workstation, and there is no delay in opening and using all kinds of office software, including the fact that this article is typed at X 1T now. Objectively speaking, the moderate and light office needs of X 1T can be met. Sure enough, the intel m5 processor is not bad, much better than the previous generation. What about processing photos? A while ago, I went to Shanghai to attend a brand mobile phone conference to shoot Song Joong Ki. Dozens of large pictures 10MB are automatically processed in batch in PS. I can feel that the speed is really not fast, but compared with my original apple, it takes 1 minute and two minutes, but the lightness is too obvious. I'm happy to trade extra performance for lightness.

Most importantly, this machine is completely silent and has no fan. In the dead of night, I can't hear any noise from the machine except the tapping of my fingertips. This experience is particularly good.

For example, after work, talk about business trips. I flew to Shanghai this time and was caught in a thunderstorm. I waited at the airport from 8: 30 in the morning until 2 pm. I use X 1T to watch SHIELD to kill time. Roughly calculated, if I watch a movie, this 40Wh can play for 4-5 hours, and if I type online, the time is similar. How can I put it? In my opinion, this endurance can only be considered passable. If it can reach the actual working efficiency of 6-8 hours, it will be perfect, and there is no need for external power supply for a day. ThinkPad also provides a battery docking station for battery life, which I will talk about later.

Independent keyboards are sold separately, and the price in JD.COM is 1099 yuan. In my opinion, this equipment is necessary. The keyboard weighs 300 grams, plus the fuselage of less than 800 grams, the total weight is in the early 1 kg, which is very light. Although the keyboard is very thin, it still conforms to the title of ThinkPad, especially the existence of little red dot kills the keyboards of other similar 2-in-1 products. If you are a person who likes typing, you will choose X 1T because of the existence of this keyboard. The keyboard backlight supports three-stage adjustment, so you can see clearly when typing at night. At the same time, after the keyboard and the body are combined into one, there are two angles, one is flat, which can provide a solid typing feel, and the other is a certain inclination angle, which will make typing more comfortable, but the keyboard will be slightly elastic, depending on personal preferences.

It is said that the battery life of X 1T is still a little less. It doesn't matter. ThinkPad has a productivity option, called a battery docking station. It provides an extra 4-5 hours of power, and also provides an HDMI interface, a USB3.0 interface and an onelink interface to connect the ThinkPad professional docking station. After installation, two keyboard tilt modes with different angles are provided. This extended battery weighs only 260 grams. I tried. After installing the expansion battery, I can basically meet the office needs of unplugging for one day. Therefore, for people who have serious needs for mobile office, it is more reassuring to have an expansion battery at all times. Taobao costs 899 yuan, which is not cheap, but you still have to buy it.

The random body also provides a stylus, which supports 2048 touch pressure, which is twice as high as Microsoft Sophie. Usually, the pen can also be inserted into the side of the keyboard or the USB port of the fuselage. This stylus is very smooth and sensitive, but I'm still not used to it, so it fell off after a while.

Advantages and disadvantages and summary

First advantages: 1, light weight, 1 kg, small size, 12 inch body, keyboard and body can be separated at any time. Even if the whole body is put together in a satchel, it is very light to carry. 2. Keyboard typing feels great. 3. The battery expansion option provides twice the battery life and more expansion interfaces (although it sounds a bit melodramatic).

Disadvantages: 1, reflective screen. 2, battery life will be enough.

X 1T is not the cheapest two-in-one product on the market now. Lenovo's own MIIX4 is less than 3,000 yuan, and the performance of X 1T is not the strongest. In pursuit of ultimate productivity, you can buy Microsoft's Sophie Core I series, all with more powerful processors. But it is such a product with ThinkPad LOGO that provides a good experience, quieter, better keyboard feel, and a brand with strong business field. I believe that many business people who have little feelings in their hearts will consider whether to do this.
