Essays on Jinji Lake Prose

"When you come to Suzhou, you must have a look at Jinji Lake, where the scenery is extraordinary." When I visited Suzhou Industrial Park last week, the tour guide of Suzhou Industrial Park Planning and Construction Bureau said so. Jinji Lake, located in Suzhou Chengdong Industrial Park, is the largest lake park in China. Strolling through Jinji Lake, you can see blue sky and green space everywhere, and the beautiful images of high-rise buildings are reflected in the water. The overall landscape of Jinji Lake is divided into eight areas, namely Hubin Avenue, City Square, Water Lane Neighborhood, Wanghu Corner, Jinjidun, Cultural Water Gallery, Linglong Bay and Boxin Island, each with its own charm and style, which are connected in series through green space system and pedestrian system.

Hubin Avenue makes people feel the perfect combination of modernity and classicism, allowing you to step into the city with one foot and return to nature with the other. The lakeside avenue formed by the forest vagina not only attracts domestic tourists, but also attracts foreign friends with high nose and blue eyes. In the camphor tree garden, young men and women sit together, but they have no time to feel the ancient camphor tree. They have been intoxicated by the fragrance, facing the vast smoke, dreaming of their own ideals and falling in love. ...

If the elements of traditional Suzhou are classical gardens, small bridges, flowing water and houses, then the elements of modern Suzhou are lakes, sculptures and squares, which make people feel the modern atmosphere and appreciate the fashionable urban scenery. The sculptures on the lakeshore symbolize harmony. Harmonious sculpture is not only a symbol of Suzhou Industrial Park, but also a symbol of international cooperation. Sino-Singapore cooperation-Suzhou Industrial Park has become a model for international industrial parks. Jinji Lake landscape construction scheme won the excellent design award of American Association of Landscape Architects, which was called "Oscar". No wonder people of different nationalities, colors and ages always linger around Jinji Lake. As planning and construction peers, we have to sincerely admire the wisdom and foresight of designers and builders of Suzhou Industrial Park!

The origin of the name Jinji Lake is said to be in the Spring and Autumn Period. After Gou Jian paid tribute to Shi, Fu Cha, the prince of Wu, only cared about having fun with Shi in Gusutai, Lingyan Mountain in the west of the city, without asking about politics. Joan Ji, the clever daughter of Fu Cha, the prince of Wu, found that Gou Jian had ulterior motives and repeatedly reminded her father to beware of Gou Jian. But focha didn't listen to her. However, she was angered by Shi and drove Qiong Ji to a desert island in Suzhou East Lake to "miss the lake". Later, when the Vietnamese army arrived at the gates of Gusu, Fu Cha prepared to give his daughter to Gou Jian as a "gift" to save his life. When Joan Ji learned the news, she was in great pain and jumped into the lake to commit suicide. Later generations called this lake "Qiongji Lake" and the place where she was buried "Jinjidun" in memory of Qiongji. Because the pronunciation of "Qiongji" in Wu dialect is similar to that of "Golden Rooster", Qiongji Lake is gradually called "Golden Rooster Lake". Suzhou was "established as a capital" twice in history, once by Wu in the Spring and Autumn Period and once by Zhang Shicheng, the leader of the salt people at the end of Yuan Dynasty. Unfortunately, in the end, Jinji Lake generously accepted the remains of Zhang Shicheng, the leader of the salt people. The rise and fall of history is fleeting, and standing by Jinji Lake can't help but make people think. ...

Stay at Moonlight Wharf Inn at night. Strolling outdoors, you can see Jinji Lake at night. The moonlight pier has a gentle radian, like a crescent moon gracefully moored in the northeast corner of Jinji Lake, which is favored by moonlight in the waterfront landscape. It's summer night, and it's refreshing to stand on the observation deck. Every tree is decorated with lights. About ten meters away, there are a group of lounge chairs with different shapes for tourists to rest, and melodious light music lingers in their ears like a breeze. Looking around, Jinji Lake is colorful in the night, and the distant buildings are outlined by lights, which complement each other. Music fountains come and go, and the beating water curtain notes present beautiful pictures.

Jinji Lake at night, like a luminous pearl, shines in the east of Suzhou.
