As a well-known Japanese photographer, Hideki Fujii attaches great importance to excavating national cultural characteristics. In the 1960s, Japanese advertising photography was dominated by European and American models, but Fujii thought that this advertising photography dominated by foreign models was no longer suitable for the aesthetic trend of the times.
