Certificate of measurement practice

A practising certificate is the qualification certificate of a registered surveyor in People's Republic of China (PRC).

According to the provisions of Article 3 of the Interim Provisions on the System of registered surveyors, the state implements a professional access system for professional and technical personnel engaged in surveying and mapping activities, which is incorporated into the unified planning of the national professional and technical personnel's professional qualification certificate system. The term "registered surveyors" as mentioned in these Provisions refers to the professional and technical personnel who have passed the examination and registered in accordance with the law and obtained the "Qualification Certificate of registered surveyors City, People's Republic of China (PRC)" and engaged in surveying and mapping activities.

The Ministry of Personnel and the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping are jointly responsible for the work of the registered surveyors system, and guide, supervise and inspect the implementation of the system according to the division of responsibilities. The personnel administrative departments and surveying and mapping administrative departments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for the implementation, supervision and management of the registered surveyors system within their respective administrative areas in accordance with the division of responsibilities.

The relevant requirements of registered surveyors stipulate that:

1. The registration of registered surveyors is applied online through the registration system. The original relevant materials shall be scanned and submitted to the electronic document through the system. The applicant and the registered entity shall be responsible for the authenticity of the relevant materials and bear corresponding legal responsibilities.

2. Persons who have obtained the qualification certificate 1 year but less than 3 years shall provide at least 30 hours of training certificate for compulsory content of continuing education when applying for initial registration. Those who have obtained the qualification certificate for more than 3 years and applied for initial registration must provide the certificate of continuing education equivalent to the requirements of one registration cycle.
