Geographical environment of Peng Zu Garden

East Gate of Peng Zu Garden is a group of buildings with hall and porch structure. The East Gate is located between the stone archway and the Nine Dragon Wall, occupying the central position of the garden buildings in this area. The two huge stone lions in front of the door and the painting on the door make the East Gate gorgeous and elegant. Looking up, Zhao Puchu, a calligrapher, poet and former president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, wrote "Peng Zu Garden" in three big characters, vivid and full of vigor. The couplets on both sides, "Peng Zu loves sports and prolongs life, and Xu Wang is tired of fighting and keeps his reputation", quote two famous figures in Xuzhou ancient history: Peng Zu and Xu Yanwang.

Dapeng pavilion

Dapeng Pavilion, located at the top of Shoushan Mountain in Peng Zu Garden, is a large-scale classical building with a total height of 18m and a construction area of 450m. Dapeng Pavilion painted beams and carved beams with double eaves and small tiles, resplendent and magnificent. A bird's eye view of the pavilion gives you the feeling that there is no land under the pavilion, which is one of the landmark buildings of Peng Zu Garden. The Great Peng Ge is divided into three floors, with a huge roof supported by 32 red pillars. It has a strange structure, shrinking inward from the first floor. The pavilion is slightly like a pagoda, surrounded by a stone fence, and visitors can overlook it through the railing. The whole Dapeng Pavilion, with white walls and red sills, is bright and clean, setting off the colorful paintings like cotton balls and imposing. The word "Great Peng Ge" was inscribed by Mr. Li Keran, a master of Chinese painting. The first floor of Dapeng Pavilion is more than 200 square meters, which is called "Pengzu Shoutang". Above the main entrance, there is a plaque of "Brilliant Spring and Autumn", and Yu's achievements will go down in history forever. The plaque of the second gate is "Tao and Innovation", which is quoted from Peng Zu's Poem Ode by Liu Xiang in Han Dynasty, meaning that Peng Zu's ideological and moral system can be innovated continuously.

Riyueshi

In order to commemorate the selfless support of China People's Liberation Army troops stationed in Xu for Xuzhou's garden construction, 1989, in May, Xuzhou City Garden Bureau specially set up a "Sun Moon Stone" to praise the achievements of the People's Liberation Army with the sun and moon. This stone stands in the southwest corner of Fushan, 3 meters long and 2 meters high, and looks like a camel.

Peng Zu Temple

Pengzu Temple enshrines Peng Zu, the pioneer, the first birthday star in China and the ancestor of Peng. This is Peng's ancestral hall at home and abroad. Peng Zu Temple is 1 1 m high, with a building area of 2 18 square meters and white walls and blue tiles. In front of the ancestral hall is an altar with an area of more than 330 square meters. The countertop is paved with fine bluestone, which is spacious and tidy. In the center of the altar, there is a tripod-shaped bronze incense burner, the incense is burning, and the believers are in an endless stream.

Dingtaitang

Ding Miaotang is located at the southern foot of Fushan Mountain, east of Peng Zu Temple, and behind it is Fushan Mountain with lush trees. Ding Miaodian is 10 m high and 15 m long, with a building area of 400 square meters. It is a two-story building, with the reception and exhibition center on the upper floor and the park service center on the lower floor.

Ba xian Shi yuan

The Eight Immortals Stone Garden is located between Peng Zu Stone Statue and Lefule Teahouse, near the south of Bulao Lake. It is a large pictographic stone garden with a total area of 2200 square meters. Wang Xilong, director of the Standing Committee of Xuzhou Municipal People's Congress, wrote a name for the Eight Immortals and Strange Stone Garden. The Eight Immortals Stone Garden is lush with flowers and birds. There are 9 tall pictographic stones in the park, among which "Peng Zu Shoushi" is a super-large snail stone weighing 5 tons, standing at the head of the immortals, while the other 8 pictographic stones are enshrined in front of "Peng Zu Shoushi", symbolizing the legend of "Eight Immortals Worship Peng Zu".

Statue of Peng Zu

The statue of Peng Zu was made on 1985. Its total height is 4.6 meters and its total weight is 20.4 tons. It is the tallest and most magnificent stone statue of Peng Zu in China at present. This Peng Zu stone statue is wearing a huge cloak, with rough lines and loose structure. It looks like a boulder, and people and stones are connected as a whole, with a fossil-like overall shape. His head is thick and slender, his eyes are thoughtful, his cheekbones are slightly raised, his cheeks are delicate and pretty, he has a big beard, and the Taoist priest dresses up. This statue not only embodies the tenacious temperament of the ancient patriarchs who are hardworking and determined to start a business, but also embodies the cultivation of the ancient philosophers. The Old Pond Scenic Area is located in the west of Peng Zu Garden and at the west foot of Fushan Mountain. The southern end starts from Qiaochun Garden (Meiyuan) and extends northward to the spillway outside Peng Zu Garden. The scenic spot is 70 mu, the pool surface is 40 meters wide from east to west, 400 meters long from north to south and 23 mu of water surface. Bulaotan is surrounded by green hills and belongs to mountainous basin topography. Several mountain streams gather here, and the water surface is clear, bright and sparkling. According to legend, Peng Zu took people to practice by the lake, and when he saw the spring gushing out here, he couldn't help grabbing a handful and gulping it down. He felt sweet and moist, refreshing and looked much younger. Later generations knew that Peng Zu could drink this water to prolong his life, so he called this lake "the Lake of Youth".

Pengzuyuan west gate

The landscape of the west gate of Peng Zu Garden is a group of buildings consisting of archway doors, wing rooms and management rooms, among which the highest and most majestic gate is eye-catching. Ximen is a memorial archway building of Heizai in Qing Dynasty, which is ten meters high, with four columns and three doors, double eaves, four corners tilted and arches connected. The front of the West Gate is inlaid with three glittering Chinese characters "Peng Zu Garden". It is Mo Bao of Shen Peng, contemporary calligrapher and chairman of China Calligraphers Association; "Landscape Gold" was inscribed for the old mayor of Xuzhou. Ximen adopts the official law of Qing Dynasty, imitating wood structure, with simple shape and rich layering. Painted with ink lines and gold dots, it is brightly colored and beautifully patterned, with dragon brocade patterns in many places, which is quite royal. West Gate is the intersection of the western landscape of Peng Zu Garden. Peng Zu Statue and Sacrifice Square can be reached by crossing the bridge to the east, Meiyuan to the zoo to the south, and Longyinfang and Hongqiao to the north via Dai Yu Road.

Qiaochunyuan

Meiyuan, also known as Qiaochunyuan, is based on Mao Zedong's Yongmei the Diviner. Meiyuan is located between the west gate of Peng Zu Garden and the zoo. The terrain here is undulating and suitable for plum blossom growth. More than 500 plum blossoms were planted.

Plum blossom belongs to Rosaceae, and its flowering period is from the end of February to the beginning of March. It has been loved by people since ancient times and is one of the top ten traditional famous flowers in China. Plum blossoms are planted in the south of Huaihe River and are the first flowers to bloom in early spring. They often bloom when the ice and snow are not melted and the wind and frost are cold, so they have the reputation of Ling Xue, Ao Shuang. Plum blossoms are cold-resistant, bright and eye-catching, and are often used as a metaphor for noble personality. They are often chosen by poets and painters, and many artists are famous for writing and painting plum blossoms. There are many varieties of plum in Peng Zu Garden, including red plum, pink plum, green plum, Bai Mei, weeping plum, green sepal plum and wintersweet. In addition to Meiyuan, there are plum blossoms and wintersweet in the zoo on the east bank of the lake. Zhuchunyuan

Bamboo Spring Garden is located at Dongdaemun, north of Jiulong Wall, with an area of about 2.50 mu. It is a garden mainly for ornamental greenhouse plants. Professor Chen Dayu of Nanjing Art Institute and Mr. Li Siheng of Xuzhou Calligrapher wrote the name of the garden "Bamboo Spring Garden" respectively, which means that flowers and trees are flourishing here and spring is blooming. The main building of Spring Garden consists of four flower exhibition halls, octagonal pavilions and a long corridor. There are fish ponds in the garden, surrounded by bamboos, which are self-contained. The precious plants in the Spring Garden are Cixiao Bamboo, Cinnamomum cassia and Magnolia grandiflora. Zhuchun Garden is a large ornamental greenhouse with four exhibition halls: Flower Hall, Tropical Plant Hall, Bonsai Hall and Fairy Hall. Exhibitions such as flowers, bonsai, art and photography are often held here.

Sino-Japanese friendship cherry blossom forest

Cherry Blossom Forest Scenic Area is located in the north of Peng Zu Garden, at the northern foot of Fushan Mountain. "Is the cloud, is the forest in the mountains. In order to beautify the ornamental effect under the forest, Peng Zu Garden has planted various lawns such as Manila 10000 square meters, and thousands of ornamental trees and flowering shrubs such as Yucca, Yingchun, Forsythia, Tianzhu, Brocade, Maple, Hongfeng, Picea and Pinus bungeana.
