What does camellia look like?

Camellia grows at the top of branches, mostly red or reddish in color, and some are white. Petals are mostly double petals and also single petals, which are often distributed in multiple layers. The outer layer is nearly round and the inner layer is obovate. It has three-wheeled stamens and is about 3 cm long.

Single-petalled camellia is mostly original flowers, and there are also some cultivated varieties. There are about 5-7 petals, which are distributed in 1-2 rounds, and the colors are mostly red, but also pink and purple.

The number of petals of compound leaf tea is between single petal and double petal, generally 20-50 petals, distributed in 3-5 rounds, and the colors are red, pink and white. There are four flower types, namely, compound petal type, five-star type, lotus type and pine cone type. As the name implies, all kinds of flowers are like lotus flowers and pinecones.

The number of petals of double-petalled camellia is more than 50, and the cultivated varieties can even reach 130. It can be divided into seven flower patterns, namely, osmanthus, chrysanthemum, hibiscus, crown, hydrangea, radiant and rose. The colors are red, yellow, white and purple, as well as colored stripes and so on.

Camellia species

1, hexagonal camellia: the flowers are bright red, large, medium to large, with more than 80 petals, and the flower diameter can reach 10 to 12 cm. The tree is beautiful, the branches are plump and straight, the leaves are dark green and obovate, with teeth, the flowers are medium to large, and the growth is slow.

2. Camellia: It is called Camellia because of its shape like Camellia and Plum Blossom, with spherical or oblate crown, large tree shape and slender branches. Mountain tea is small and round, dark green, with low tree shape, tight and short branches and thicker leaves than mountain tea.

3. ChristianRandPhillips Camellia: also known as Pink Dan. Its color is mainly purplish red, its leaves are dark green and oval, its apex is gradually pointed, and its flowers are double. Sometimes the color is full red, sometimes it is half pink and half red, and the foundation is red and fast. The flower is very big, with 70-80 petals.
