Russian farming methods

The first is an agricultural company. Many of these agricultural companies were born on state-owned farms in the former Soviet Union. At that time, the Soviet Union was not self-sufficient in grain, which had a lot to do with these farms. The employees on the farm don't work hard, they are idle and the production efficiency is very low. It's different now. Many state-owned farms have been reorganized into private companies. Although a few still retain state control, the mechanism has changed, and the era of eating from the same pot is gone forever, and production is over.

The second way is family farm, which is generally developed on the basis of small farmers. They used to be individual small farmers. Later, with the continuous development of business, they bought or merged the surrounding land, forming a family farm with the family as the unit, a bit like the landlord in our country in the past. The land they cultivate ranges from thousands of mu to tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of mu, which is actually an agricultural company.

The third way is family-owned individual agriculture, which is the most common way in China, that is, the small-scale peasant economy, and one household is self-reliant. Only Russian families have more land. It is common for a person to own dozens or even hundreds of acres of land. Like farmers in China, they decide what to plant on the land, and then sell the agricultural products harvested from the land to buy all kinds of living and production materials they need.

Because the whole country of Russia is close to the North Pole, the land suitable for farming is close to the southern end of the country. To the west of the Ural Mountains, the vast eastern European plain is a traditional agricultural area in Russia, especially on the Black Sea coast near Ukraine. Because it is closer to the south and has good light and heat conditions, it is the main agricultural producing area in Russia.
