Why are the light red, green and blue primary colors and red, yellow and blue in art? Good people come to answer!
Newton discovered the mystery of the color of light. After systematic observation and research experiments, he finally confirmed that when a beam of white light passes through a prism, it will be refracted twice, and the result is that the white light is decomposed into seven regular colored rays. These seven colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and purple in order. This is what people often call "seven-color light". And these seven kinds of light will be combined into a beam of white light after being reversely refracted by the prism. So, 1666, Newton published a theory-"color is in light". Newton's prism experiment was later called the famous "dispersion experiment" This research achievement is also the "spectral theory" that Goethe, a great German writer, has been strongly refuting for decades after Newton.
After discovering the mystery of light dispersion, Newton began to infer that since white light can be decomposed and synthesized, can these seven colors of light also be decomposed and synthesized? As a result, countless experiments and constant calculations filled his later life. After a while, Newton came to a conclusion through calculation: of the seven colors, only red, green and blue can't be decomposed, so there is no synthesis. The other four colors of light can be composed of these three colors of light in different proportions. So red, green and blue are called "three primary colors of light" or "three primary colors of light" (note that this is different from the well-known three primary colors "magenta Huang Qing"). Newton failed to complete the experiment and died after reaching the above conclusion through calculation. Some days after Newton's death, his students finally finished his unfinished experiments, and Newton's calculations before his death officially unveiled the color theory of light.
In the process of color perception, the color of light source is related to three elements: light source, eyes and brain. Therefore, the selection of the three primary colors of color light involves the wavelength and energy of the light source, the spectral response interval of human eyes and other factors. Experiments show that 1, red, green and blue light cannot be decomposed, so it is called "tricolor light".
When printing, printing, painting, painting, etc. passively emit light through the reflection of the surface of the medium, the color presented by the object is the remaining part of the light source after being absorbed by the pigment, so its color quality principle is called the subtractive principle. The principle of subtractive color method is widely used in various passive lighting occasions. In the principle of subtractive method, the three primary colors are cyan, magenta and yellow respectively.
