Historical development of photography

As early as16th century, artists used black boxes to record light and shadow. This early photographic equipment could not produce photos. It just opened a hole in the wall of a dark room and projected the scenery outside onto a plane. In fact, the whole room can form a pinhole camera. The literal meaning of the English version of the photo cassette is "darkroom".

The first photograph in history was taken on asphalt in 1826 by a Frenchman, joseph Nicephore Niepce (1765- 1833), but he died before the technology was finally perfected. His partner, the French painter Louis Jacques Manda Daguerre (1789- 185 1), invented the silver plate photography method based on his achievements, and in August 1839, the French government announced that he had obtained the photography patent. Today's Polaroid cameras still use a photographic method similar to the silver plate method.

As another important founder, British William Henry Fox Talbot (1800-1877) published "Carlo Photography" in 184 1 year, and made a film that can be copied many times, which laid the foundation for the photography process of modern photography.

19 14 years, Oscar Barnack, the designer of the German "Leeds" microscope workshop, tried to make a double-size (24×36mm;; Model 135) camera (film size is 18×24 mm), and Leica camera (Leica) was sold at 1924. 135 will become the most popular film specification in the future, greatly reducing the size of the camera, making the mainstream of photography turn to documentary photography and quickly accepted by the public.

Digital camera technology began to be studied in special fields in the middle and late 20th century, and entered the civilian market at the end of last century. 1995, Kodak released the consumer-grade digital camera DC40, marking the beginning of the civilian market for digital cameras. In 1950s, the Japanese brought electronic technology into the field of photography. They used the excellent lens and optical system at the beginning of the computer century to improve the high-quality camera using 35mm film. Then, they used the microcircuit concept and computer chip developed by American computer and aerospace industry to design high-sensitivity photometry system, automatic exposure and autofocus system, and finally gave birth to the current digital camera technology.

With the progress of digital technology and Internet application, photography has been more deeply integrated into social life. Digital music players, mobile phones and other digital products have begun to be equipped with photography functions, and the pictures taken can be spread wirelessly through MMS, and photography has begun to develop in a diversified way.
