(3) Feed sorghum
The stems are juicy, vigorous and have strong tillering ability, which can be used as green feed and silage after harvest.
(4) Technical sorghum
The stem bark is tough and can be used as raw material for technological weaving after planting. Some varieties can be used to make brooms, and varieties with long ears can be used to make other handicrafts.

1, plants
(1) The stem is erect, with a height of 3-5m and a transverse diameter of 2-5cm, and supporting roots grow on the basal nodes.
(2) The leaf sheath is hairless or slightly white, the tongue is hard, the apex is round, and the edge is ciliated.
(3) The leaves are linear to linear-lanceolate, about 3-8 cm wide and 40-70 cm long, with tapering tips, dark green surface and light green back.
(4) The leaves are hairless on both sides, with cartilaginous edges and fine bristles.
2, caryopsis
(1) The caryopsis is slightly exposed at the top, flat and convex at the side, red to reddish brown in color, about 3.5-4 mm long and 2.5-3 mm wide.
(2) Spikelets are linear to lanceolate, about 3-5 mm long (spikelet stalk is about 2.5 mm long), and the color is brown to dark reddish brown.
(3) The first glume has 9- 12 pulse, and the second glume has 7- 10 pulse, with flowering and fruiting period from June to September.
