China Antelope Canyon, do you know?

In midsummer, in the Ganquan Grand Canyon in Shaanxi Province, the sunlight flows gracefully through the gap of the canyon, sometimes golden like pearls, and sometimes scarlet like sand, and gathers into hundreds of millions of years of precipitation.

The Grand Canyon is located in Yucha Village, Xiashiwan Town, 56 kilometers northwest of Ganquan County, Yan 'an City, Shaanxi Province. According to textual research, there was a strong earthquake about 10 million years ago, and a crack appeared in the mountain of the Loess Plateau, with different widths. After a long period of rain erosion, the surface gradually formed a unique canyon landform, showing a wonderful ripple curve. The canyon is very similar to the Antelope Canyon in the United States, which has attracted people's attention and become a sacred place for photographers all over the country.

The specific reasons are described as follows:

Strong earthquakes lead to rock fracture, and seasonal floods flow vertically into the rocks along the profile. Gravel carried by high-speed water flow impacts, rotates and grinds like a drill bit in the pit at the bottom of the rock stratum, eroding and hollowing out the bedrock, forming a pot-shaped cave, that is, a pot hole in geology. Under the synergistic effect of flood, gravel and wind, the diameter and depth of pot caves are greatly increased, and the rock walls between pot caves are forced to break and connect, forming a very deep underground canyon.
