There is a village in Yantai, which is descended from Mongols.
Now, there is such a special surname-"Du". When people today look through history with great interest and find that there is a more special Mongolian descent behind this special surname, a journey of seeking roots begins.
Du Zu Zu Kao
Beitou Village, Jianggezhuang Town, Muping District, also known as Beituan, is different from other villages. Most of the villagers here are surnamed Du. In the pubs, Dongling, Dongchang, North and South Songshan, Xiajiatuan, Shuanglinqian and other villages around Beitou Village, people surnamed Du are also very concentrated. According to population statistics, there are more than 5,000 people surnamed Du in Mu Ping.
In Beitou Village, an ancient "Dujia Temple" has been well preserved. There are genealogy and genealogy books in the ancestral hall, in which it is recorded that "Du was the imperial clan of the Yuan Dynasty, the ancestor taboo must be the Caspian Sea Duke, and in the early Yuan Dynasty, Huachi was also in charge of the state armies, Europe, and advised agriculture".
According to the "Guanshou" part of Ninghai County Records written by Jiao Xicheng, "The Caspian Sea was inevitable in the early Yuan Dynasty, and in the first year of the Central Plains (1260), the sea died and the children were attacked; Copy the child to death, the child is neither old nor red. Children and grandchildren have families and are still surnamed Du. "
According to official records, Bi Caspian Sea is the earliest ancestor of Du. Tracing back to earlier historical data, Bilihai was the capital of Huachi, a metropolis where Mongolia was stationed in Ninghai Prefecture (now Mu Ping, Rushan, Wendeng and Rongcheng) in the early Yuan Dynasty. In Mongolian, Daru Huachi means "escort". He is the highest official sent by the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty to manage military, political and economic affairs. "Du" is the general meaning, so Du Huachi's official position is higher than that of Huachi, and he can also manage several state capitals across regions.
Some scholars speculate that after the Caspian Sea and its descendants came to Ninghai, they changed dynasties and fell out of power, living in seclusion in the northeast corner of Mu Ping. In order to survive, the descendants of the Caspian Sea, with their own hands and brains, with the help of Han brothers and through the efforts of countless generations, changed the living habits of the original nomadic tribes and gradually eliminated the differences between the Mongols and the local Han people.
Why do the descendants of Mongols choose the rarely used "Du" surname? Some people think that it is convenient for future generations to recognize each other by taking the first word of the official name "Dulu Dahuachi" as the surname; Some people think that the surname "Du" is given by the appeasement policy of Zhu Yuanzhang and his descendants to the Han people.
In the course of historical development, many people named Du traveled across the ocean to make a living in the northeast of China, but they never forgot their Mongolian ancestors. According to relevant personnel, on May 30th, 1985, the Ethnic Affairs Committee of wafangdian city sent personnel to inspect the history of Du surname according to the requirements of the Notice on the Principle of Restoring or Correcting Ethnic Composition. After investigation and study, it was unanimously agreed that the people from Yandian Township and Guotun Village in Dalian were surnamed Du, and the Mongolian elements were restored.
Preservation of genealogy and ancestral temple
Today, there are actually few ancestral halls left in Muping District. At present, the only well-preserved one is Dujia Ancestral Temple in Beitou Village, Jianggezhuang Town. Dujia Ancestral Temple, located at the eastern end of Beitou Village, is the oldest house in the village and a traditional quadrangle-style building in China. When the ancestral temple was built, there is no way to verify it. A stone tablet embedded in the courtyard wall records that it was restored during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty.
"In the past, our Dujia ancestral temple was probably a very ordinary ancestral temple. Later, our family flourished and this ancestral hall was built. According to the ancestors, it can last for more than 200 years now. " Today, Du Jikai, 73, of Beitou Village, is mainly responsible for the daily management of this ancestral hall and the annual sacrificial activities held here by his colleagues.
During the "Breaking Four Capitals" during the Cultural Revolution, some people searched for and destroyed these ghostly things at that time. The genealogy of Lincun pub was turned out and burned, and the genealogy of neighbors was also taken out and burned. Du Ji, with a genealogy in his hand, saw it in his eyes and was anxious in his heart. He moved his family tree to a place he thought was safe for the night. Faced with the dissuasion of relatives, Du Jikai said nothing. He firmly believed that the things left by his ancestors must not be destroyed in his own hands, let alone let his relatives leave regrets. In order not to destroy the genealogy, Du Jikai transferred the genealogy four times and finally preserved it completely.
In 1980s, after the village supply and marketing cooperatives moved out of Du Shijia Temple, some people of insight named Mu Ping began to pay attention to Du Shijia Temple. 1990 During the Spring Festival, Du Jikai invited the Du family genealogy he had treasured for many years to the Du family ancestral hall and hung it solemnly. The news spread like wildfire, and the surnames of Nanzhuang and Beituan came to worship in succession, and even more people came from afar to find their roots and ask their ancestors.
At present, every Spring Festival and the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, several elderly people who are enthusiastic about family ancestors in Beitou Village will hang up genealogy records of Du descendants in previous dynasties, respectfully arrange various tributes, and let people of the same clan hold sacrificial activities here. For every visitor from afar, they always warmly receive and open the door of Du's family ancestral temple, telling the origin of the family and the history of family ancestral temple.
Family ties span Qian Shan.
Blood ties are always connected, but family ties are constantly separated. Today, with the development of communication, Du's descendants spontaneously set up a blog of Dujiamiao on the Internet. The distribution of "Du" surnames in the whole country and the characters arranged by generations, the origin of Du surnames in hua county, Anyang, Henan Province, and the relevant records of Du history in Jianyang, Sichuan Province ... Here, people of "Du" surnames from all over the country discuss and exchange, and their blood ties cross thousands of waters in Qian Shan and meet silently through the Internet.
During the May Day holiday in 2007, some Du people from Beijing, Liaoning, Kyrgyzstan and other places spontaneously came to Beitou Village to pay homage to Du Zu Temple and pay homage to the ancestors of the Caspian Sea.
Although I have never met before, the phrase "hometown people are coming" has made the descendants of the Du family from afar cry. On the same day, the old man Du Jikai broke the routine of hanging genealogy only on the Spring Festival and July 15th, and hung it respectfully, so that the descendants of Du Jikai from afar could get their wishes. Facing the solemn ancestral temple of Dujia, looking up at the ancestral genealogy hanging high and opening the long-forgotten genealogy of Dujia, the relatives of Dujia from afar were filled with emotion and tears. Pilgrimage, toast, three consecrations ...
After the ancestor worship, people also held the National Du Ancestral Hall Forum, and the blogger of the Sina blog "Du Ancestral Hall" distributed the historical materials of Du Ancestral Hall collected in recent years to everyone for exchange.
Du of Siping said: "Our ancestors left their homes, but our ancestors did not forget their homes and roots. Due to historical reasons, they didn't succeed, but we came back as descendants of the Du family, and we realized the wishes of our ancestors. I think more people with surnames will come back to seek roots and worship their ancestors in the future! " Du Benwei from Liaoning wrote in Dujiamiao's guest book, "Go back to the north in spring, pay homage to our ancestors, inherit the great cause and open a new road."
When "The Sun Rises on the Grassland" sounded at the clan meeting, people's hearts became closer after the Du family. This is a reunion, a return.
Although everyone's task is constantly going on, Mu Ping's descendants are busy again now, because this year's ancestor worship activities will be held soon. It is understood that following the Du family, people also intend to set up a "Du Culture Research Association" to systematically sort out the Du family tree and the inheritance of Du culture in various places.
Who knows the ins and outs of life, life becomes a profound book. There are many rare surnames in Jiaodong Peninsula. If we find out the origin of these surnames, the primitive worship of the early Archaeans and the vivid figures in history will come out. Knowing why, we are confident to move forward under the symbol of "surname"

According to historical records, the Caspian Sea died in 1260, and Kublai Khan was called Khan in this year. 127 1 year, Kublai Khan made the country Yuan, and the Yuan Dynasty was formally established. 1279, the Yuan army destroyed the Southern Song Dynasty and unified China. During this period, Bi Caspian's son was appointed as Mu Ping Dalu Huachi. After Chao Er's death, the grandson of Bi Caspian Sea was not too old to be appointed as Huachi, and went through Yuan Dynasty, Yuan Zhen and Dade Dynasty. The Yuan Dynasty began to restore the imperial examination system and abolish the hereditary system of local officials. After the death of Bulaochi, the descendants of Caspian Sea will no longer hold the post of Daruhuachi.
