Why did Zhu Yuanzhang's underwater ancestral grave appear?

On May 27th, a staff member of the Ming Zuling Scenic Area in Xuyi was inspecting the water outlet of the city wall. Recently, Xuyi County, Jiangsu Province, located in the lower reaches of the Huaihe River, suffered a rare drought, which led to a sharp drop in the water level of the Huaihe River. A corner of the outer wall of the Ming Zuling, which has been submerged under water, is exposed to the water.

Ming Zuling is located on the west bank of Hongze Lake in Xuyi County, Jiangsu Province. It is the actual burial place of Zhu Yuanzhang's great-grandfather and great-grandfather.

On May 19, there was a severe drought in Jianghuai area recently, and the water level of Hongze Lake continued to drop to near the death level. The picture shows the arches and tunnels of the Ming Zuling underground palace.
