Restrepo's introduction
Restrepo, which won the jury documentary award at Sundance Film Festival, was jointly completed by the author of Perfect Storm, journalist sebastian junger and photographer Tim Hetherington. Since 2008, they have followed an American platoon for a whole year, recording their tasks and lives in Afghanistan. The title "restrepo" is the name of one of their fallen comrades, and they named their whistle as a souvenir.
