A Review of Home Far Away

From July, 20 1 1 year, I began to watch the 100 episode "Home Far Away" produced by the Chinese Frontier Film Team. From Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to Liaoning and other nine provinces in the western and northeastern frontiers, it has experienced more than 22,800 kilometers, 100, more than 500 towns and villages. After watching each episode, I was deeply educated and moved. Seeing the great rivers and mountains of the motherland has greatly broadened my horizons. We are particularly happy and proud to see that the party's good policies have been implemented and the border areas are getting richer day by day, which is worth learning and praising. There are six things that I feel deeply:

First, the frontier scenery of the motherland is infinitely good. I have deepened my understanding and love of the frontier, especially my impression of Tibet has changed greatly. I used to think that "Tibet is ancient and backward, far away from the mainland and unattractive", but now I think many things such as green mountains and green waters, places of interest and modern buildings are very lovely. Tibet has the most shots in the program "Home Far away". There are patches of blooming rape flowers, forests, rivers and lakes, pure and beautiful, lush vegetation and cattle and sheep everywhere. There used to be an "ancient soil forest" in the temple ruins in Ali area hundreds of years ago, which is of great historical value. The Buddhist scriptures of 48,000 years ago are still preserved in Dunhuang Temple, which is a first-class protected cultural relic in China.

Second, the border guards are the cutest people. At the foot of Mount Everest, which is more than 8,800 meters above sea level, the story of a soldier at a border post who is not afraid of hardship and fatigue is very touching. The temperature there was below zero in July and August, and a class of soldiers lived in tents. Their living conditions are very difficult. They wash their feet with cold water at night. They struggle against all difficulties, raise the national flag early every day, stick to their posts in the snow, and defend the peace of the motherland with sweat and youth. When the border guards shook hands and hugged the whole class, they all shed tears. I deeply feel that fearless soldiers are heroes and the cutest people.

Third, the deeds of the two old mothers are very commendable. Near the Zhangmu Port in Tibet, there is an old mother of10/kloc-0 who insisted on raising the national flag in front of her house for 46 years to show her love for the motherland. Neighbors around her call her a "flag bearer". Another intersection often collapses. A 65-year-old mother nearby insisted on guarding this place 10 for many years. When someone asked her why she did it. She said, "I'm afraid something will happen to the passing car." What a noble ideological realm and action this is!

Fourth, there are many difficulties without bridges in big rivers. In Yunnan province, there is a big river without a bridge for a long time, so it is difficult for people on both sides to go back and forth. Parents with children at school slide to the other side with chains. Two children were going to the other side to get things, but they waited all day without an adult escort. Now that the government has decided to build this bridge, the people are very happy and looking forward to it.

Fifth, appreciate many new things and spontaneous cultural and sports activities in the frontier. I saw many local specialties, famous snacks, gold and silver jewelry, transnational marriages, transnational markets and other interesting things in the frontier. I also saw the active atmosphere in which ethnic minorities love life and are good at singing and dancing. They often sing and dance at home, in the yard and on the grassland. Some people write and perform small programs and songs and dances, some people in their 70 s teach their descendants to sing and dance, some people tug of war happily on the grassland, and some young people race horses on the Gobi Desert, which is very spectacular.

Sixth, after reading Home Far Away, I deeply felt the hospitality of the people in the frontier. Wherever the frontier staff went, the local people warmly received them, introduced the situation, led the tour and helped solve the accommodation problem; Frontier people are optimistic and can bear hardships. Some people have poor living conditions. Although they are facing many difficulties, everyone is optimistic, smiling everywhere and trying to build their own home. There are many advantages in the frontier, and it will surely become richer. The border areas have good natural conditions and ecological environment, a small population and abundant resources. As long as everyone works hard and starts a business, especially if the party's policies are gradually implemented, they will surely become rich and truly live a better and happier life.
