The river in my hometown.

Speaking of my hometown, the first thing to say is water. It can be said that my hometown is born of water and grows because of water.

During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it was an important water conservancy hub, known as the source of Wandi, hence the name "Ditou Village". Later, it was renamed many times, and finally it was changed to Fang Sheng because of water. The style of the Song Dynasty is very beautiful, because there is a saying that "winning water and fragrant flowers will last forever", and it was finally named "Fang Sheng".

Fangsheng's water is called Zhongting River, which belongs to a tributary of Daqing River, and its upstream is connected with Baiyangdian Lake in xiong'an new area. Baiyangdian is the West Lake and Fangsheng Lake is the East Lake. At that time, the water system was developed and the water was abundant. For Fangsheng and the villages in the southwest of Fangsheng, the only means of transportation is the boat. In the green gauze tent, reeds are swaying and lotus flowers are reaching into the sky. When the famous film Private Zhang Ga was filmed, many shots were shot in Fangsheng.

Because of the developed water conservancy, high grain output and relatively developed fishery, it has been a land of fish and rice since ancient times, especially the crabs of Fangsheng, which are famous far and near. I remember the old man said that because the downstream reaches the estuary of Tianjin tail, sea crabs often cling to the bottom of the boat and come to Fangsheng with the boat. For thousands of years, Fang Sheng's crabs are different and especially delicious. I'm not a student of biology, and I don't know if it's right, so I wrote it down as a legend.

Because of its geographical advantages and developed waterways, Fangsheng has more advantages in business and is an important flood and drought terminal and commodity distribution center in the north. According to ancient literature, Fang Sheng said that "the water is full of sails, and the land is full of chariots and horses". With beautiful scenery, numerous merchants and convenient transportation, it was listed as one of the six major towns in Zhili in Qing Dynasty, and was known as "Little Jiangnan". Legend has it that when Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, he won the party several times, but there is no way to verify it. This is just a legend.

In a word, the Pearl of TEPCO, with Xiaojiang in the north and Xiaojiang in the south, is the recognized name of Fangsheng in my hometown. I also think that this ancient water town born of water is no less than the paradise described by Tao Yuanming.
