What is COS photography?

Is to shoot cosplay

In Japanese, "コスプレ", as the name implies, COS PLAY is the abbreviation of English costume drama (this name was extended by Japanese animator Gao Qiao at the World Science Fiction Convention held in Los Angeles in 1984), and its verb is COS. People who play COS PLAY are generally called COSPLAYER. Generally speaking, the earliest Chinese translation of COS PLAY came from Taiwan Province Province, which means "role-playing".

Role-playing: refers to an artistic act of costume performance that independently deduces the role. It is considered as a sub-cultural activity.

However, because this translation is the same as the RolePlayGame(RPG) in the game, in order to avoid similarities, the author prefers another translation-dressing up. As far as today's COSPLAY is concerned, its form and content generally refer to the use of clothing, trinkets, props and makeup to play ACG (animation, comics, games) or some roles in Japanese Vision Rock and movies. Thus, COSPLAY contains a fairly broad positioning space, and it can even be said that as long as COSER exists, this field is definitely the mainstream of teen pop culture today.
