Matters needing attention in preparation stage

1. Selection of foundation: The selection of foundation is very important, and it must be solid and stable. However, the ground conditions of the shooting site are often very complicated, and bumps, softness and mud are inevitable. In this case, we can adjust the level of the track by inserting some wooden wedges. If the ground fluctuates obviously, or we need to shoot through the threshold, we need to use solid objects such as bricks or wooden boxes as the foundation.

2. Tight joints: The joints between the rails must be tightly connected, and the joints of the rails must not be laborious, which will affect the use and service life of the rails.

3. Shelf stability: tripods and rail cars must be stable, and it is best to use "binding devices" to tighten them. If it is a column rail car, the column and the car body must be locked.

4. Pre-application: After all the installation and debugging are completed, it must be run before the official shooting.

5. Avoid cables: consider the placement of cables to avoid damage and danger caused by being crushed by rail cars.

Many photo assistants only care about how smooth the car is, but ignore the coordination between speed and plot; In addition, pay attention to the influence of the speed of the ruler team. 4: 3 and 16: 9 are shot at the same speed, and the speed of the picture feels different.

Start-stop: Quick start-stop will have great inertia, and the picture will shake (except for the rail car). Even if the baler is pulled tightly, it will shake, so as to avoid sharp changes in speed.

Safe driving: always pay attention to the running distance of the rail car to avoid the rail car rushing out of the track at the end of the track. We can put a mark on the track as an auxiliary position reference when moving ahead, and the mark can also be used as a moving position point or a shifting point according to the needs of the plot.

Picture stability: Smooth movements will have imperceptible tremor, and it is no problem to shoot with wide-angle and medium-focus lenses, but it is inevitable to shoot with telephoto lenses, which will exaggerate this tremor, just like looking for stars with astronomical telescopes. There is a slight tremor here, and there is already a displacement of tens of thousands of kilometers there. Try not to shoot on the rail car with a telephoto lens.
