There are several common camera lenses.

There are five common camera lenses: standard lens, wide-angle lens, telephoto lens, zoom lens and macro lens.

1, standard lens

The focal length of the standard lens is close to the diagonal of the image sensor, so its shooting angle is roughly similar to that of the human eye, and the perspective ratio is basically the same. It is characterized by good imaging quality, small perspective distortion and large absolute aperture, and is suitable for remaking or shooting with natural light in low illumination environment.

2, wide-angle lens

Wide-angle lens has shorter focal length than standard lens, and has the imaging characteristics of wide viewing angle, small imaging and long depth of field. It is especially suitable for taking large depth-of-field photos of panoramic views or landscapes. Generally, wide-angle lenses are used when shooting scenery, conferences, news, travel photos, life photography and other subjects, which are commonly used by photographers.

3. Long focal length lens

The long focal length lens is longer than the standard lens and has the imaging characteristics of small viewing angle, large imaging and short depth of field. Suitable for shooting close-ups, close-ups and objects that need long-distance shooting and are inconvenient to approach. When shooting with a large aperture at close range, the long focal length lens requires high focusing because of its short depth of field. Whether it is manual focusing or autofocus, it is best to check carefully to ensure that the focus is clear.

4. Zoom lens

The main types of zoom lenses are wide-angle to medium-focus zoom lenses, medium-focus to telephoto zoom lenses and telephoto zoom lenses. General APS-C single-lens reflex digital camera can choose 18 ~ 55 mm (18 ~ 35 mm) and 70 ~ 200 mm zoom lens to meet the daily needs of shooting various subjects.

5. Low power camera lens

Macro lens is a kind of lens specially used for shooting close objects, and its focal length is very small, generally below10 mm. Macro lens is suitable for shooting small objects such as flowers, insects and jewelry, which can show its unique details and texture. The disadvantage is that it takes some skills and experience to make a good work.
