The photographer who is called the geek of American portrait photography is Philip Halsman.
Halsman Halsman (1906— 1979) is an American photographer. His black-and-white portrait photography reached the peak of photography art and became a model of world photography. 1906 was born in Riga, Latvia, Europe. As a young Halsman, he studied electricity and machinery in Dresden for three years and became interested in photography. 1930, he lived in Paris and took up photography. 1940 On the eve of the Nazi occupation of Paris, he fled to the United States with the help of Einstein.
