General settings

l Obtain IP address automatically (DHCP)

The original factory setting of the network camera is . If you want to know how Log in to the network camera with the default IP address, please refer to the user manual.

If you select , after the camera restarts, the user can install the software "DeviceSearch.exe" through the bonus CD (placed in

"DeviceSearch" folder), you can search and connect cameras through the software in the future.

Please review and note the MAC address tag on the camera for future software search purposes.

l Use fixed IP address

Click and enter the IP in the IP address space field below, for example: 192.168.7.123; then change the Settings (please refer to the following description for details), for example: 192.168.7.254; finally click to complete the settings.

Select , the user can search and link the network camera through the "DeviceSearch" software (please refer to the user manual for the search link method), or directly enter the IP address on the URL page of the web browser After that, press again.

1. IP address

Fill in the IP address for network identification purposes.

2. Subnet mask

Set the subnet mask within the same network segment. The default value is: 255.255.255.0.

3. Default gateway

Set the default gateway. This is an important window for transmitting computer messages. If the setting is wrong, other network segments will not be able to communicate normally with the user's network segment.

4. Preferred DNS server

Set the main domain name IP address.

5. Alternative DNS server

Set a secondary domain name IP address for backup.
