The picture shows Chaoyang Street 1929 in Liaoning. In the middle of the street stands a tall archway, which reads "Chaoyang in Feng Ming". Chaoyang, Liaoning, formerly known as Longcheng, Liucheng and Zhong Xing, is located in the west of Liaoning. Chaoyang has a long history. Longcheng, the capital of Yan Qian, Houyan and Beiyan established by Murong Xianbei during the Sixteen Countries Period in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, is the predecessor of Chaoyang. The name "Chaoyang" began in the 43rd year of Qing Qianlong (1778), and it was named after Chaoyang Cave on Fenghuang Mountain in China.

1929 Chaoyang north tower, originally three ancient pagodas in Chaoyang city stood at the foot, commonly known as north tower, south tower and east tower according to the orientation. The North Tower was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty, and it has been repaired in all previous dynasties. Since the Northern Wei Dynasty, the location of the North Tower has been regarded as a sacred place by the royal family, and the majestic North Tower is known as the "first tower in Northeast China".

Because of its slow walking speed, gentle temperament, more steady pace and cheaper price than horses, it was the favorite means of transportation for ordinary people in ancient times when traffic was underdeveloped.

Lingyuan Guandi Temple, also known as Lingyun Temple, was built in the seventh year of Qing Qianlong (1742). Besides the back hall, Lingyun Temple has other halls dedicated to the King of Medicine, Vulcan and Luban.

1929 Wanxiang Temple in Lingyuan is located on the south slope of Beishan, Kangguan Zi Ying Village, Songzhangzi Town, lingyuan city. They were founded in the fourth year of Qing Qianlong (1739). According to the Records of Lingyuan County, in the forty-eighth year of Qianlong (1783), Emperor Qianlong went to Shengjing to worship his ancestors and passed Lingyuan, where he stayed.

1929 Chaoyang, Liaoning, the south tower, one of the three towers of Chaoyang, was built in Liao Dynasty. "Yanjing Pagoda", one of the eight sights of Chaoyang in the old days, refers to the South Pagoda of Chaoyang. When summer comes, crowds of Jin Yan dance around the pagoda, and the setting sun flies, which complement each other with the pagoda's tall towers. It is quite interesting and often attracts countless tourists to stop and watch.

1929 On the other side of the Daling River are Phoenix Ridge and Qilin Ridge. Daling River was called White Wolf Water in Han and Tang Dynasties, Linghe in Liao Dynasty and Linghe in Jin Dynasty. It is the largest river in western Liaoning. The ancient Daling River is choppy and magnificent, and is listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Chaoyang.
