A large number of farmers born and raised in Pingyin County were selected as extras. The film has a strong local style throughout. As the first feature film to reflect rural life in the county, "Hometown Love" was mainly shot in the Notre Dame Mountain Modern Agricultural Park Scenic Area and the Xianziyu Scenic Area, an ancient village in the Ming Dynasty. The entire film is planned to be shot in Pingyin for more than 40 days, and then returned to Beijing for studio shooting and post-production. It is planned to be launched on CCTV Movie Channel and national digital cinemas next year.
