How to upgrade the firmware of photographic equipment

1. Update the BIOS to the latest version and update Windows Update.

2. Enable and reinstall the driver in Device Manager.

2- 1. Enter [Device Manager] ① in the Windows search bar, and then click [Open] ②.

2-2. Click the triangle ③ next to the device type of [DVD/CD-ROM drive]. Click the right mouse button ④ on [Undetected optical drive], and then click [Enable device] ⑤. Confirm whether the optical drive can be detected.

If the Enable Device option is not displayed, your CD-ROM drive is enabled. Please continue to the next step.

2-3. Uninstall the driver of the CD-ROM drive. Right-click [Undetected optical drive] and then click [Uninstall device].

2-5. Restart the computer. After the computer restarts, the system will automatically install the driver. Confirm whether the optical drive can be detected.

3. Troubleshooting using hardware and equipment

3- 1. Enter [Troubleshooting Settings] ① in the Windows search bar, and then click [Open] ②.

3-2. In the troubleshooting window, select [Video Play] ③, and then click [Run Troubleshooting] ④.

3-3. Follow the prompts on the screen and try to solve the problem. If the optical drive is still illegally detected after troubleshooting, please continue to the next step.

4. Restore the system through the system restore point

If you have previously created a system restore point or an automatic restore point created by the system, please try to restore the system to the restore point at the last normal startup.

5. System restore

If all troubleshooting steps have been completed, but the problem still exists, please restore the system after the backup.
