In today's world, when calligraphy is all the rage and there are bursts of "calligraphy fever", calligraphy has increasingly lost its cultural support and become a pure profession or technology. From 65438 to 0956, Jia was born into a farming and reading family in Xiaxian, a famous hometown of calligraphy and painting. His brother is Mr. Jia, a famous calligrapher in China, and he is praised by calligraphers as "the first person with the charm of the two kings today". Jia obeyed his father's instructions when he was five years old. At the age of 5, I began to learn calligraphy with my brother, and the earliest ones were Ou Ti and Liu Ti calligraphy. In the meantime, he wrote Inscription of Liquan in Jiucheng Palace of Ou Yangxun, Inscription of Huadu Temple Pagoda, Mysterious Pagoda Monument of Liu Gongquan and Monument of Shence Army, etc. Step by step, from face to face to back, and he keeps coming to the clinic every day. Therefore, this kind of brushwork, which is deeply rooted in the combination of rigidity and softness in Europe and Liu's thinness, laid a solid foundation for him to establish his own style in the future. When he was in junior high school and high school, the textbooks in the school were extremely scarce. He is attracted to the school because he can write elegant and unique regular script. As a student, he actually undertook the work of engraving teaching materials for the whole school. Although his hand-carved textbooks are only mimeographed, his beautiful and elegant "Jia-style regular script" has fascinated the teachers and students of the whole school. 1974, Jia was detained as a teacher after graduating from high school. In addition to teaching, he also began to attack the "two kings" and Zhao Ti. In addition to carefully copying Wang Xizhi's Preface to Lanting and Baotu Spring Poetry, he also participated in the inscription of Han and Wei Dynasties, dabbling in Jin, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Learn from others and return to the two kings. On the basis of solid traditional skills, his calligraphy gives full play to his creativity and forms a distinctive personal style with modern aesthetic consciousness and literary accomplishment. His running script is clear and implicit, warm and pleasant; Regular script is fluent, radiant, fat and thin, and has great statutes. No matter the composition, structure and brushwork are perfect, the spirit of the book has floated out. It is unique in today's book world.

As early as the end of 1980s, Jia Yi, who was only 32 years old, caused a sensation in the national book circle: within one year from 65438 to 0988, his calligraphy works won the first and second prizes in the second national "Golden Shield" painting and calligraphy photography exhibition, the national children's calligraphy and calligraphy competition instructor's book exhibition, the national "Ye Shengtao Cup" middle school teachers' book exhibition and the Shanxi teachers' and students' book exhibition; His students, Wang Xuan, Liu Jing and Joline, also won gold and silver prizes in the national children's "Shuanglong Cup" calligraphy competition. He himself was awarded the honorary title of "Horticulture Award" by the organizing committee of the competition. Hard work and sweat have achieved several degrees of spring and autumn. Since then, more than 60 of his calligraphy works have won gold, silver and bronze prizes in various calligraphy competitions at national, provincial and municipal levels, among which many works were exhibited in China Art Museum, and more than 20 works were published in various newspapers and periodicals all over the country, and were selected by many famous works. In particular, his book The Diamond Sutra, with fine print 10 meter, has more than 6,000 words.
