How many people does an archaeological team usually have?

Archaeology is usually not a job that can be done by one person. At least in field archeology, archaeologists must first form a team, including a team leader, team members, those who excavate, those who take photos, those who record, and those who restore. Wait, if there are not three or five people working together, nothing can be accomplished and the work will not be successful. In addition to forming their own teams, archaeologists also hire some migrant workers in the village to dig and unearth, and even select careful and capable villagers to assist the archaeologists in cleaning up ruins and relics.

The number of these people is not fixed. It can be as few as a few people or as many as hundreds of people.
