Plot introduction

[Edit this paragraph]

Version 1

In this horrible psychological film, 8-year-old boy Cole can't get rid of a terrible secret in his heart, that is, the devil hidden in him. Those demons who seemed to come from the depths of hell asked him many questions and gave him many supernatural abilities. Cole is very afraid of their visit, and he is very confused about his super powers. He was afraid to tell others about his pain. Finally, he had to turn to Dr. Malcolm (Bruce Willi), a child psychologist. He tried his best to investigate the truth about Cole's supernatural abilities and tried to help him get rid of them. As a result, he trapped himself and encountered something more terrible and unexplained.

Version 2

Dr Malcolm is an outstanding family psychologist for children. He has helped many troubled children to get on the right path and won the praise of the municipal government. Unexpectedly, a teenager who was treated by Dr. Malcolm but failed broke into Dr. Malcolm's house, shot and killed the doctor and then shot himself.

A year later, Dr. Malcolm once again faced a case similar to that of a teenager who committed suicide. The doctor decided to try again and help the little boy named Cole. Cole has yin and yang eyes and has been haunted for a long time. He sees dead souls from time to time, which makes him very scared.

Dr Malcolm offered a helping hand to Cole, but it was not accepted by Cole, because Cole decided that no one could help him out of the current predicament. With the persistent insistence of Dr. Malcolm, Cole finally became wary, let the doctor know his own problems, and slowly accepted his advice. When Dr. Malcolm was treating Cole, he found that there was something wrong with his marital status. His wife not only snubbed him, but also seemed to have an affair. So Malcolm faces two problems at the same time: work and marriage.

Under the guidance of the doctor, Cole gradually accepted the fact that he had yin and yang eyes. Just when the whole thing seemed to be completed and the merits were complete, Dr. Melcombe made an amazing discovery.

Version 3

There is a nine-year-old boy in Philadelphia who lives in the environment of a single mother. He claimed to see the dead. His psychiatrist was shot dead by one of his former patients who failed in treatment a year ago, so he vowed to try his best to help the child. With the help of the child, he solved the mystery that his stepmother poisoned a little girl. But the real surprise comes at the end of the film. When the doctor completely believed the boy's words, he found that the relationship between him and his wife had undergone subtle changes and finally realized his environment.

Behind the scenes production

On the surface, it is a ghost film, with several bloody ghost scenes and one or two frightening scenes, but underneath it is a work to discuss family ethics. The film is cleverly conceived. All three main actors have first-class performances. Willis' low-key performance and Colette's anxiety are well balanced, while Osmond is a talented child star, who vividly shows a special child with insight across Yin and Yang.

Wonderful dialogue

[Edit this paragraph]

Cole Hill: I saw dead people.

Malcolm Crowe: In your dream?

[Cole shakes his head no]

Malcolm Crowe: When you're awake?

[Cole nods]

Malcolm Crowe: The dead are like, in the grave? In the coffin?

Cole Hill: Walking around like a normal person. They can't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They didn't know they were dead.

Malcolm Crowe: How often do you see them?

Cole Hill: All the time. They are everywhere.

Cole Hill: They only see what they want to see.

Cole Sears: She wanted me to tell you. ...

Lynn Hill: Cole, please stop. ...

Cole Sears: She wanted me to tell you that she saw you dance. She said that when you were young, you had a fight with her, just before your dance performance. You don't think she will come to see you dance. She did it. She hides in the back, so you can't see. She said you were like an angel. She said you went to the place where she was buried. Asked her a question? She said the answer was ... "Every day." What did you ask?

Lynn Sears: Did ... did I make her proud?

Cole Sears: She came to see me not far from Wan Li, didn't she?

Malcolm Crowe: I think so.

A (movie) fiasco

Malcolm's hair slipped to one side while performing magic tricks for Cole in the library, and the camera cut back to him neatly.
