What is Zhang Aiping's rank?
Comrade Zhang Aiping is a famous general poet, photographer and calligrapher. He used poetry, books and photography as weapons to strengthen the body and eliminate evil spirits, stir up turbidity and promote clarity, enthusiastically eulogize the truth, goodness and beauty, and mercilessly lash out at the false, evil and ugly. A large number of his poems, calligraphy and photos artistically recorded important events and activities in the history of the Party and the army, which played a positive role in carrying forward the revolutionary tradition, inspiring the military and cultivating moral sentiments, and had a wide impact.
Comrade Zhang Aiping is an alternate member of the Eighth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, a member of the Eleventh and Twelfth Central Committees, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Communist Party of China, a member of the Fifth NPC Standing Committee, and a member of the First, Second and Third National Defense Committees. 1955 was awarded the rank of general. He was awarded the first-class August 1st Medal, the first-class Independence and Freedom Medal, the first-class Liberation Medal and the first-class Red Star Meritorious Medal.

1926 Join the Communist Youth League of China. 1928, transferred to China * * * production party. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Zhang Aiping served as the chief of staff of the East China Military Region, Vice Premier the State Council and other important positions, and also served as a member of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) and the CPC Central Committee. On July 5th, 2003, Zhang Aiping died in Beijing.
