When I was a child, everyone should have watched "Crossing the Kanto" at home with their elders. This drama tells the story of a Shandong family who was forced to leave their hometown to live during the period from the late Qing Dynasty to the September 18th Incident. It was only after the TV series fire that Zhu Jiayu really came into public view.

Zhu Jiayu, located in the southeast of Zhangqiu District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, is a typical ancient mountain village in the north of China, the only "famous village of Chinese history and culture" in Shandong Province, and now it is a national 4A-level scenic spot. Known as "the first ancient village in Qilu". The origin of the name of this village is also related to the surname of contemporary people. Because many people in this village are surnamed Zhu, they chose this name. The village has a long history and ancient and precious cultural customs, attracting a large number of tourists to visit.

Zhujiayu village is surrounded by mountains on three sides, which is a rugged and patchwork trapezoidal settlement with natural features. Temples, pavilions, ancient bridges and ancient cultural sites are distributed in every corner of the village, retaining the original architectural pattern of ancient times. Most of the buildings in the village are from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Different from the quiet ancient villages in the south of the Yangtze River, Zhujiayu Village is an authentic northern mountain village with yellow mud and yellow courtyard walls, which has the unique simplicity and vitality of the countryside.

The historical buildings in Zhu Jiayu are well preserved, including nearly 200 ancient buildings, more than 20 Zhong Shiqiao and 10 temples. There is also the Kangxi Shuangqiao, which is known as the embryonic form of the world overpass, and the double-track ancient road, which is known as the "pioneer of ancient traffic". There are countless human and natural landscapes.

Zhu Jiayu has a simple and primitive rural image, which has been filmed by many film and television dramas. For example, red sister, black and white past, mother and so on. There are more than 30 film and television dramas filmed here. The most famous is the well-known Crossing the East, in which the protagonist said, "I am from Zhangqiu Zhu Jiayu", which left a deep impression on this small place in the hearts of countless audiences.

Zhu Jiayu has also built the theme exhibition hall and the dynamic experience hall of "Braving the Kanto", and explained the historical picture of "Braving the Kanto" to tourists in various forms, such as cultural relics exhibition, sculpture, and 4D film cultural landscape remodeling, as well as the home of educated youth, which integrates experience and research, and fully reproduces the real life scenes of rural educated youth in the 1960s and 1970s. Let the old people find the memories of youth of that year, and let the young people appreciate the charm of that year.

In addition, ancient buildings such as Jinshi's former residence, former residence, Zhubei Building and girls' school have been restored. Two workshops, Black Pottery Workshop, Coarse Cloth Workshop and Tofu Workshop, were restored 12, which promoted the protection and inheritance of ancient culture and folk traditional crafts.
