Is Canon or Sony the best choice for digital cameras?
Before buying a camera, it should be clear that the camera is inconsistent with other consumer electronic products. Cameras are high-end electronic products and very sophisticated optical instruments. Choose them carefully to avoid being misled by advertisements and businesses.
First, the brand. There are many digital camera brands on the market, but most of them are Japanese brands, and there are also a few domestic and American, German brands, and even shanzhai. See things in a blur. Everyone has a different understanding of the brand. Here I classify all the common camera brands according to my understanding as follows:
Professional brands: Canon, Nikon, Pentax (also known as Pentax) and Olympus.
Non-professional brands: Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Casio, Sanyo, etc.
Film manufacturers: Fuji, Kodak
Explain here:
1. The so-called "professional brand" means that these manufacturers are professional manufacturers of photographic equipment and optical equipment; The so-called "non-professional brand" means that these manufacturers mainly produce electronic products, and digital cameras are only part of their business; The so-called "film manufacturers" are all producing films.
Professional manufacturers, but in the digital age, they also introduced related photosensitive imaging components.
2. In addition to these professional brands, there are high-end professional brands such as Lycra and Hasselblad. I won't write because it's far from ordinary consumers. Because what we're talking about here is a small consumer digital camera.
Second, choose among professional brands. Canon and Nikon are the most famous, especially Canon, where advertisements are overwhelming. IXUS series is worthy of being liked by many girls because of its compact and fashionable appearance. Nikon did not show weakness, and with decades of accumulation in the field of professional photography, it launched the coolpix series of small digital. But I feel that these two brands of consumer digital cameras, especially the Canon series, have pushed up the price with low cost performance. Canon often uses "Made in Japan" as a selling point, but this is just a flashy stunt. I once bought Canon as a small digital camera. In less than a month, the camera owner can't get out. Moreover, some people used to compare Fuji's small digital with Canon on foreign websites, and Canon lost. Therefore, the so-called Japanese manufacturing does not mean stable quality and good imaging, but brings higher prices.
Pentax and Olympus can be said to be old-fashioned Japanese glasses enterprises with professionalism and quality. Pentax's SMC multilayer lens coating technology has almost become a myth in the industry, and Olympus's "Ruiguang" lens is also well-known. In the era of film machine, it can be said to be the best. But when the digital age came, they didn't develop as fast as Canon and Nikon, and gradually faded out of people's sight. But this can't hide their quality. Pentax's Optio series and Olympus's U series are of good quality, and their cost performance is higher than that of Canon and Nikon.
Third, choose among non-professional brands. To be honest, I don't recommend buying a camera of a non-professional brand, especially Sony. Sony is a famous manufacturer of electronic products in the world. It has been involved in electronic products, movies, music and other fields, and the camera is only a part of its business. Although he bought Minolta, a famous Japanese camera brand, with the support of Carl Zeiss lens, I think Sony didn't really spread the image cultural connotation of Minolta and Zeiss, but only used them as a selling point. Moreover, Minolta's technology is mostly used in professional SLR cameras, and the so-called Carl Zeiss lens for small digital applications is only a product authorized by German Zeiss company, which cannot be compared with the real Zeiss lens. However, Sony cameras have attacked the fine tradition of "no best, only the most expensive" of Sony electronic products, which is unacceptable. Although I got a big LCD screen, smiling face, graffiti and many other fancy functions, it was not practical. If you want to spend a lot of money on an electronic toy, that's all right.
Samsung, using Schneider's lens as a cover, is actually of average quality. The price is not cheap.
Casio, I prefer his electronic watch and electronic dictionary. But that card-sized camera is really attractive, but it's expensive. He should use Pentax lenses, because Casio has no ability to produce lenses.
Sanyo knew he was a tape recorder when he was a child. The camera has a strange shape, like a domestic cottage DV.
Panasonic, with the famous Lycra lens, I don't know if it's really made in Lycra, Germany. Panasonic's LX3 has a good reputation. If you don't care about the price, it is a good choice.
Fourth, choose the brand of the film manufacturer.
Fuji and Kodak are two famous film manufacturers in the world. In the digital age, they seem to be left out. But they did not stop. They all have related electronic imaging technology, and they also produce CCD, the key component of cameras. Because they are film manufacturers for many years, they have a good "talent" for imaging technology research. They introduced their own digital cameras and electronic imaging technology. Kodak made digital backs for Nikon and Canon a long time ago and is a pioneer of digital cameras. Fuji cooperates with Nikon to produce its own digital SLR. Nowadays, most wedding photo studios use Fuji digital single shot. They also have many products in the field of consumer digital. However, due to various reasons, Kodak's digital cameras have been selling badly. Fuji keeps a low profile. But this does not prove that their quality is not good, because most people only recognize so-called "big brands" such as Canon, Nikon and even Sony. Fuji's unique SuperCCD imaging element has excellent imaging and is recognized in the industry. Fuji Dragon lens produced by Fuji is the best lens in Japan, and Fuji has a unique EBC electronic lens coating technology. Now the famous high-end camera brand Hasselblad is using Fuji Dragon lens, which shows the high quality of Fuji Dragon lens. Because Fuji has always been very low-key in the market, the price is very approachable. The price of a z 100fd with anti-shake function is even less than 1,000 yuan, and the cost performance is simply super high! Therefore, I strongly recommend Fuji series small digital cameras. After all, the most important thing is to spend money on affordable products
The above is purely a personal opinion, I hope it will help everyone.
