Mohe history

1. The origin of the Mojiang River Today's Mojiang River is the general name of the original Huaihe River and Mojiang River.

Ancient Jimo (now the ancient city in southeast pingdu city) was named after its proximity to Mexico. After the reconstruction of the Sui Dynasty in Jimo County, a north-south river named "Mo" flowed from the bottom of Li Sanzhuang Ling in the southeast of the city.

According to the Tongzhi edition of Jimo County Chronicles in Qing Dynasty, Mohe originated in Malanling, from west to north, and entered the Huaihe River. "Huaihe River, a source in the northwest of Shicheng Mountain, flows through Yang's courtyard; The first source is the southwest of Lianhua Mountain, which flows to the southeast of the county town through the shade of patio, passes through Zhang Cun to Huaishe Temple, meets Molai, flows from west to north, then flows into Shihetou River, and flows into the sea from southwest. " .

When the ancients praised Jimo's success, they often called it "Lao Feng" and "Mo", which caused the misunderstanding of "Huai" or "Mo". Today, these two rivers are collectively called the Ink River.

2. What are the characteristics of Xiangshui River and Moshui River? Xiangshui River, located in the mirror of Xue Ping Town, Nanzhang County, Xiangyang City, is a 3A-level scenic spot with beautiful scenery such as Fei Ying Waterfalls and Colorful Waterfalls. It is known as "Chutian Jiuzhaigou" and "Little Lushan Mountain". Xiangshui River is famous for its unique terrain, numerous strange caves, hieroglyphics and rich wildlife resources.

Today, Ink River is the general name of the original "Huai She" and "Ink". Ancient Jimo (now the ancient city in southeast pingdu city) was named after its proximity to Mexico. So far, it has a rich history After the reconstruction of the Sui Dynasty in Jimo County, a north-south river named "Mo" flowed from the bottom of Li Sanzhuang Ling in the southeast of the city. Today, these two rivers are collectively called the Ink River.

3. The Historical Position of Jimo Ancient City During the Warring States Period, Jimo stood proudly in the east of Qi, facing Linzi in the west, and boasted of being rich.

Dr. Jimo's brilliant achievements and Qi Weiwang's amazing "one voice" made Jimo's name clear to the world; Later, Tian Dan took advantage of this lonely city and skillfully defeated the Yan army with the fire bull array, further improving the popularity of Jimo. Qin unified the whole country and implemented the "county system", with Jimo as the county; However, this new thing seems to be somewhat shaken in the chaos of the subsequent regime change.

At the beginning of the Han Dynasty, the grandson of Gao Zu Liu Bang was named "King of Jiaodong" here. Subsequently, Liu Che and Liu Ji, sons of Jingdi Liu Qi, were also sent here.

Since then, Liu's descendants have had six or seven princes sitting on the fief of King Jiaodong, and their influence hangs over most of Shandong Peninsula. Jimo County, which is also the "national capital", has also become the political, economic and cultural center of rural Jiaodong.

Wang Mang was "new" for a while, and Jimo changed its name to "good", but this new name was soon banned with the collapse of the new Mang regime; Of course, the old name of "Jimo" was also restored with the restoration of Liu's throne. There are too many stories, too thick accumulation and too heavy burden in Jimo.

Even the name "Jimo" is fascinating. Local people in Jimo call Jimo "instant secret" or "instant charm". Even foreign friends often deliberately learn the words "instant secret" or "instant charm" to show their familiarity and kindness to Jimo.

So, why did Jimo get its name? According to historical records: "The name of Jimo originated from water; Jimo has a long history of establishing its capital. This is a mountain and a sea, and this has not changed. " It turns out that the name "Jimo" first appeared in the historical classics such as Warring States Policy, Mandarin and Historical Records, and was named after the city (located in Dazhumao Village, Gu Yan Town, pingdu city, where Tian Dan broke Yan) near the ink (originated from the ancient Moshan Mountain in pingdu city, now the Zhudong River).

Named after mountains and rivers, it is very common in toponymy in China, and Jimo is no exception. "That is" means close, close; "Ink" refers to the Mohe River.

During the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, Jimo was under the jurisdiction of Lion. In BC 1046, after the termination of commerce in Zhou Wuwang, a country was established, with foreign fiefs in the west. In 722 BC, "the surname of Ji conquered foreign nations" (Ji was in the southeast of Shouguang City today, and the ancient city of Yi was in Gucheng Village of Lancun Town today).

In 567 BC, after the state of Qi was destroyed, the doctor of Qi established Jimo City, located in Dazhumao Village, Pingdu Town. Then during the Warring States period, the old town of Jimo was very prosperous, which could be compared with Linzi, the capital of Qi State.

After Qin unified the whole country, the county system was implemented and Jimo was designated as the county. At that time, Jiaodong Peninsula was Jiaodong County, and the center of the county was Jimo.

During the Western Han Dynasty, Jiaodong County was divided into Jiaodong County and Donglai County, and Jimo was managed by Jiaodong County. Jiaodong consists of eight counties: Jimo, Changwu, Xiami, Zhuangwu, Yuzhi, Ting, Guanyang and Zou Lu. jimo city is regarded as the "national capital" and naturally becomes the political, economic and cultural center of Jiaodong.

For more than 700 years from Qin and Han Dynasties to the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the setting of Jimo County has not changed, despite the change of dynasties and constant wars. During the Southern and Northern Dynasties and the Song Dynasty, Zhuangwu County was abolished and merged into Jimo County.

At the end of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, great historical changes took place in Jimo. In 556 AD, Jimo County and Butch County were abolished and merged into Changguang County (now pingdu city).

Only 25 years later, the Sui Dynasty was established. In 596 AD, the county system was restored and rebuilt. The territory of Jimo County includes the three counties of Lizhuangwu, Gao Yu and Buqi, including the vast areas of jimo city, Laoshan, Chengyang and Qingdao.

The ancients were very particular about the choice of county governance, taking great pains and being far-sighted. The new town of Jimo County is located at the foot of Wang Meng Mountain, and the Huaihe River in the south of the city surrounds the ancient city in the shape of an ingot. Moshui River is a small river in the south of the old city, which originates from Malanling in the north of Shi Peng Reservoir and flows into Huaihe River in the north-south direction. Later generations used to call the Huaihe River the Mohe River (officially named in 1986). The establishment of such county administrative districts and county governance remained unchanged for more than 1000 years from the end of Sui Dynasty to the end of Qing Dynasty.

At the end of Qing Dynasty, Jimo experienced another major historical change. 1897165438+1October 14. Germany occupied the southern sea and part of the land in Jimo county under the pretext of the Cao Zhou religious case, and forced the Qing Dynasty to sign the Jiaoao concession treaty in 1898. Jiaozhou Bay covers an area of 65,438+000 Li, with a total land and sea area of 65,438+065,438+028.25 square kilometers (of which the land area is 5,565,438+0.75 square kilometers), belonging to the "Jiaoao Concession", including the area south of Baisha River in Jimo County (most of Renhua Township, Li)

Since then, Jimo has lost her "hometown in the south" and one of the most promising places, which is later Qingdao. 1935, the state * * * included the eastern part of Laoshan Mountain, which belonged to Hairun Township in Jimo County at that time, in Qingdao.

Things change when the stars move. 1May 26th, 949, the whole territory of Jimo was liberated.

Jimo County was included in Qingdao in June 1957 and June 10. 196 1 year, five communes in Jimo County, namely, Yang, Jihongtan, Magezhuang, Hetao and Yindao (now Hongdao) were placed under Laoshan County, forming the present urban boundary.

1989, Jimo withdrew from the county to build a city, and jimo city became a suburb of Qingdao. In 596 AD, after the regime stabilized, the Sui Dynasty began to enter the construction period, so Jimo County, which was once abolished by the previous dynasty, was restored and rebuilt.

The county seat spans more than 40 kilometers from the original site to the southeast. The determination of the location of this new city must be the choice of people of insight. Even from today's point of view, it is a very good location: grazing can be carried out on the hillside, the offshore is conducive to fishing salt, the west is fertile and fertile, surrounded by rivers, with excellent water quality and abundant water resources.

Since then, a new Jimo City has appeared here and started a new historical load. The long years of growth have recorded its experience. By 2096, it will be the anniversary year of 1500. 1897165438+10, Jimo experienced another major historical change. German invaders suddenly invaded Jiaozhou Bay, occupying the southern waters and part of Jimo County. In March of the following year, the Qing Dynasty was forced to sign the Jiaoao Concession Treaty, which classified the area as a "Xanadu" and enjoyed various privileges. When is this "paradise"?

4. How many years of history of Jimo "Jimo" is an ancient place name of Jiaodong Peninsula, bearing rich and heavy historical content.

The name "Jimo" first appeared in historical books such as Warring States Policy, Mandarin and Historical Records. Because the ancient city is located on the Mohe River (now Zhumao Village, pingdu city), it was named after the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Jimo County, located in Qin Dynasty, belongs to Qi County.

In the Western Han Dynasty, Jimo County was the capital of Jiaodong Kingdom. From the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Qingzhou.

Sui, Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties all belong to Laizhou. 1943, East County and Jimo County were set up respectively. 1April, 944, Dongjun was merged into Jimo County,1July, 945, Dongjun was restored.

In the early days of the People's Republic of China, it belonged to Jiaozhou area. 1956 in March, Dong Xian county was merged into Jimo county and changed to Laiyang area.

1958 10 month, changed to Qingdao. 1961March, changed to Yantai area.

1978 65438+February, changed to Qingdao. 1September, 1989, the county was withdrawn and the city was established.

5. Why is Jimo called Jimo Jimo? This word is the oldest place name in Qingdao, but where did the name Jimo come from? There are many controversies in modern times.

It is believed that Jimo got its name because the ancient city of Zhu Mao was close to the Mohe River during the Warring States Period, which has become the mainstream theory recognized by most historians. In fact, this statement lacks corresponding historical data.

The appearance of Jimo City was more than 1000 years earlier than that of Zhu's Warring States Period. Jimo was the festival place of one of the eastern countries in Xia and Shang Dynasties.

Liberation is also called Zhu Fang in historical materials. There are many related Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Oracle bone inscriptions: "Ding is uncertain, the shell is true, the section is correct, and the mouth dies." "ugly divination, chastity, near bamboo replacing white, eleven friends" and so on.

"Strange Land" contains: "Jiefang is also called solitary bamboo, and its old place is from Haiyang." No, it is the old name of Nanjimo today, formerly Laoshan County.

"The Emperor's Century" said: "Tangte named the ink table in the solitary bamboo." Therefore, Mohist school (Mohist school for short) added the country name in front of it and became Mohist school.

This was around 1600 BC. By the way, the Motai clan is also an ancient clan living in Shandong Peninsula.

"The History of Taoism" said: "Yutai is the world, and Feng Yi takes Shaolie Mountain as the ink platform." As can be seen from the above historical data, Motel has had a name since early summer.

Because his father sheltered his family when he was "trapped in Yushan" (Yushan, now Rushan in Shangshu Yu Xia), he was sealed by Yu. Later, he conquered Sanmiao from Yu and was blocked for his work. As for the end of the summer, Houyi (the last monarch of the Xia Dynasty, surnamed Yi Minggui, was called by Cheng Tang after the national subjugation, which means violent and heartless) lost his virtue, and the Motai family also helped merchants who entered the Central Plains from western Liaoning to conquer Xia and Kunwu, his country (Shang Yang, "Wei Gu is cutting, Kunwu Xia Jie").

It became the strategic rear of the Shang army's westward advance, which was very important for Cheng Tang. After the establishment of Shang Dynasty, the solution was given to Mo Tai's family, which was later labeled as a Mohist in Jimo.

The inscription of Qi Dao coins unearthed in Jimo retains the word "saving ink", and its inscription is called "legalizing saving ink" (now in jimo city Museum). For thousands of years, things have changed, but the word "Motel" as a surname has evolved into ink black (see Origin of Surnames).

Its ancestral shrine survived in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, there was still Moqiu Society in Fuhai Township, one of the 12 Jimo Societies.

During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, it evolved into Maiqiu Society, the eleventh society of Fuhai Township (the words Mo and Mai have the same ancient pronunciation, both of which are Mo Beiqie and read like sisters. This is consistent with the pronunciation of "Mo" in our Qingdao dialect.

Looking up the gazetteer of Jimo compiled after the founding of the People's Republic of China, we can find that Maigezhuang in Liujiazhuang Town is the location of Gu Mo Qiushe. But its name is explained as follows: "Maigezhuang is named after the ancient Maiqiu Society.

The origin of the word "Mai" has not been verified. Because the editor didn't notice that "Mai Qiu" evolved from "Mo Qiu", he didn't take the test.

After the death of Jimo merchants, it changed several times. From the unexpected at the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty, historical countries and other countries to the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, all the countries on the peninsula collapsed, and then the history of Jimo as a big city and Jimo as a country ended.

Attachment: Talking about the origin of Jimo's place names-and discussing with Mr. Liu Shangnan-jimo city, Shi Zhiban and Sun Peng published Mr. Liu Shangnan's article in peninsula metropolis daily on March 13 this year | Jimo Tracing Back to Ancient Times, and recently, Jimo Education was reprinted. This paper puts forward a new view on the origin of the place name "Jimo".

It is believed that "the mainstream theory recognized by most historians" means that "the ancient city of Zhu Mao was named because it was close to the Mojiang River in the Warring States period ... and there is no corresponding historical basis". Therefore, I deny the above statement and put forward my own opinion: the origin of the name "Jimo" is because the monarch of "Motai" in the solitary bamboo country added the name of sealing the country before it, becoming Jiemo ... and later played Jimo. "

The author believes that this new formulation of denying traditional views lacks reliable historical basis. This article is written for discussion to set the record straight.

The main basis of Mr. Liu's new statement is that Jimo was named after Mo Tai, the monarch of the solitary bamboo country, and at the same time, he proposed that "Festival is also called solitary bamboo, so it is from Haiyang." At the same time, he explained: "No, it is the old name of Nanjimo, now Laoshan County."

In this way, the solitary bamboo country and Jimo rubbed together. There was indeed a solitary bamboo country in Shang and Zhou Dynasties, and the monarch was Mo Tai.

However, this isolated bamboo town is not in Shandong Peninsula and has nothing to do with Jimo. Where is the solitary bamboo country? The article Cihai Lonely Bamboo explains: "The name of the old country is said to be Jiang's and its monarch is Mo Tai's.

In today's southeast of Lulong, Hebei Province, it existed in Shang, Western Zhou and Spring and Autumn Period. Boyi was the two sons of Gu in the late Shang Dynasty and early Zhou Dynasty. "

The Water Classic Notes said: "Shui Yuan is in the southwest of the ancient bamboo city and in the north of the ancient bamboo country." "Shui Yuan is the Baigou River in Lulong, Zhili today."

"Kuodizhi" contains that "the ancient city of solitary bamboo is in the south of lulong county, and the Yin princes are solitary bamboo countries." "Historical Records of Qi Family" contains "Twenty-three years, Shan Rong cut down Yan, Yan was eager to be together, saved Yan, and then cut down Shan Rong, as for solitary bamboo."

What we are talking about here is a war in history. Shan Rong attacked Yan, and Yan turned to Qi, an ally, for help. Qi Huangong sent troops to fight against kindness, attacked the territory of the solitary bamboo country, and retreated. At that time, Shanrong was in the west of Liaoning Province, and ancient bamboo was the vassal state of Shanrong in Shang Dynasty. Now Lulong in Hebei Province borders Shanrong.

This war took place in the period of King Hui of Zhou (663 BC), when Jimo belonged to Qi. Qi is going to the northern expedition in Shanrong, western Liaoning. No matter how stupid a military strategist is, he will not go north directly from Linzi to bypass Jimo and learn from Jimo.

So the solitary bamboo country is not in Jimo, Shandong Peninsula, but in the east of Hebei between Yan State and Shanrong. The Atlas of Chinese History, edited by Professor Tan Qixiang, a contemporary historical geographer in China, indicates the position of the lonely bamboo country in the Complete Map of Shang Dynasty, which is located on the west bank of Bohai Sea and the north bank of Luanhekou, that is, between Tangshan City and Qinhuangdao City in Hebei Province today.

At the same time, it marks that the solitary bamboo country belongs to the Northern Yan in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Yan State in the Warring States Period. The above documents are enough to prove that the solitary bamboo country of Shang and Zhou Dynasties is not in Jimo.

In today's Lulong, Hebei. Therefore, it is difficult to determine that Jimo was named after Meidai.

In addition, Liu Wen also quoted the inscription "Legalization of Saving Ink" of Jimo Knife Coin, which proved that Jimo was related to the ink platform. In fact, this is also far-fetched.

Xu Shen, a Han scholar, said in Shuo Wen Jie Zi: "You can eat it immediately, and from soap, you can hear it." Also cloud "festival, bamboo about also, from bamboo.

6. Which has a long history, Jimo or Xintai? Xintai has a long history. "Jimo" is an ancient place name in Jiaodong Peninsula, bearing rich and heavy historical content.

Xintai city has a profound cultural heritage.

The tooth fossils of Homo sapiens in Wuzhutai from 30,000 to 50,000 years ago have been unearthed here, which proves that Xintai is the earliest civilized place in the ancient Dongyi area. The Dawenkou culture, Longshan culture and Yue culture created by Dongyi people around Mount Tai have found many sites in Xintai.

The cultural activities of ancestors worshiping Mount Tai in Dongyi, the worship of Mount Tai in later generations, and the meditation on Fu Liang, Yun Yun and pavilions also deeply influenced Xintai. After the establishment of the Western Zhou Dynasty, Xintai belonged to Lu, and the mound (now Loude Town) was recorded in Zuo's Spring and Autumn Annals. Since then, Xintai has been deeply influenced by Confucius' theory and accepted the positive style of study in neighboring Xia Ji.

7. How did jimo city get its name? It is named for its proximity to the Ink River.

"Jimo" got its name because the city (located in Dazhumao Village, Gu Yan Town, pingdu city) is close to the Ink River. Its name first appeared in historical books such as Warring States Policy, Mandarin and Historical Records. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it was a famous trading place of Qi State, and the county was established in Qin Dynasty. In the early Han Dynasty, it became the political, economic and cultural center of Jiaodong, and the Sui Dynasty built the city at its present site, with a history of 1400 years. 1898, Germany forcibly leased JIAOZHOU bay to separate Qingdao from Jimo. In history, there was Jimo first, then Qingdao.
