Preface to Liu Hunan's native place history

Water has activity, but wood has roots. Shui Mu still has its roots, so how can people not respect Zong Nianzu? Since ancient times, there has been a history of the country, an ambitious government and a family tree. Revising history and spectrum is a prosperous move for the country, the nation and the family. At the time of prosperity, the country advocates harmony, which is the time to link the past with the future. Filial piety first and family history preservation are Liu's fine traditions. On the opening day of the 5th Hunan Liu's Friendship Conference, the history of Hunan Liu's origin was officially published. The publication of this book will play a certain role in preserving national history and educating future generations, and it is also a happy event for the 4.8 million people named Liu in Hunan. She will inherit the fine tradition of Xiangliu and carry forward Xiangliu culture.

Liu Wenhua has a long history. According to Zuo Zhuan, Shi Bengang, Geography, New Tang Book, Prime Minister's Genealogy Table, Gao Diji, Yuanhe County Records, and other historical records and Liu's Genealogy, the nine sons of Yao Emperor originated in the Ming Dynasty. Liu Lei, the prime minister of Xia Dynasty, was the "ancestor of Jane" of Liu's 18 generation. Liu Bang, Emperor Gaozu, was the 75th ancestor of Liu. It lasted more than 4000 years from the Ming Dynasty, and passed on 180 generations. Since the Western Han Dynasty, there have been 66 emperors, 12 uprising leaders and 1 president, and Liu has been in power for more than 700 years.

In BC 158, Liu Jian of Hunan established "Liu's Changsha State". Liu Fa, the son of Emperor Liu Qi of the Western Han Dynasty, was the first king of Changsha. He was appointed king ("Dingwangtai" is now preserved) and lasted for 164 years. During the Han and Jin Dynasties, Changsha Liu was a big county in China. Liu moved to Hunan and died in the Western Han Dynasty. It took shape at the beginning of the Northern Song Dynasty, and Hongwu and its aftermath reached a climax. During this period, it experienced two great immigrants, namely "being absorbed into Chu" and "Jiangxi filling in the lake and Guangzhou". On March 3rd, 2008, KLOC-0, Hunan Citizen Information Administration published in xiaoxiang morning herald that there were 4,799,256 people surnamed Liu in Hunan, accounting for 7.05% of the total population, and Liu was the second largest surname in Hunan. As an important part of Hunan's population, Liu has made great contributions to Hunan's development, progress and economic prosperity. During the Western Han Dynasty, King Changsha of Liu made great contributions to the expansion of Hunan's territory. Today, Hunan's vast territory and rich resources should be attributed to my ancestor Liu. The former President and Liu Shaoqi made great efforts to promote the national economic development, which led to today's prosperity. In order to trace back to the source, explore the history of Liu and promote Huxiang culture, with the strong support of Hunan Yanhuang Culture Research Association, the editorial department of Hunan Liu's Origin History was established to edit and publish this unprecedented history of Hunan Liu's origin.

The history of Hunan Liu Yuanliu is divided into three parts: Liu Yuanliu, Liu Wenhua and Hunan Liu Yuanliu. The first article describes the origin, migration and distribution of the Liu family in China and even the world. The second chapter introduces Liu's family instructions, preface and postscript to imperial edicts, celebrity praise and criticism, tourism development and so on. The third chapter describes the origin of Liu ancestors in Hunan, the general situation of ancestors who moved to Hunan, and the migration and distribution of Liu people in cities, counties (cities) and districts in the province, as well as the origin and genealogy of each branch.

The book began to collect information from 1998, and began to write the first draft in 2008. The first draft of Liu Yi was completed in the autumn of 20 10, which lasted 13 years. In the process of extensive data collection, China Literature and History Museum, Shanghai Library, Hunan Library, Hunan Local Records Museum, Liu Shaoqi Memorial Hall, He Guangyue Library, World Liu Clan Network, China Liu Clan Network and more than 500 Liu Clans in Hunan provided valuable data. In the process of compilation, He Guangyue wrote The Origin and Development of Surnames in China edited by Du Yunya, The History and Culture of Liu Leishi and Lushan Mountain, The Origin and Development of Hunan Clans edited by Hunan Provincial Library, Hunan Local Records and People's Records compiled by Hunan Provincial Local Records Compilation Committee, and more than 2,000 copies of Liu's genealogy, Liu Datong's genealogy and Liu Datong's genealogy provided by Liu's clansmen all over Hunan. Thanks to the authors, editors and comrades who provided information of these studies.

I traced the history of the Liu family back to the beginning and arrested future generations; Zhao Mingmu respects politeness, the young order respects teeth, and the ancestors respect thoughts. The relationship between monarch and minister is a principle, and loyalty and filial piety is a principle. Those who forget are rebellious, those who leave are abandoned, and those who delay are blasphemous. When you are a minister, you should do your best. When you are a son, you should be cautious and pursue the future. The compilation of Liu Hunan's Native Place History is a great writing career and a great event for the Liu family. Based on the principle of detailing the present and respecting historical facts, this book basically clarifies the lineage, researches the origin, studies the characters and educates future generations. However, due to wars and natural disasters in Hunan history, the population migrated everywhere; In addition, it was destroyed by the Cultural Revolution (1966- 1976), and the information is incomplete. Although the editor has made great efforts, mistakes and omissions are still inevitable. I urge all leaders, experts, readers and Liu's relatives in Hunan to criticize and give advice, so as to revise and supplement when continuing to repair.
