When can I start without a polarizer?

Driver's glasses (polarizers) can be used as ordinary sunglasses and have no effect on eyes.

Polarizer is a lens made according to the polarization principle of light, which is used to exclude and filter the scattered light in the light beam, so that the light enters the eye visual image on the right transmission axis, and the visual field is clear and natural. Mostly used in sunglasses and camera lenses.

Polarizer application

1. When driving, it will not be disturbed by the sunlight and the multiple reflections of the vehicles in front;

2. When fishing, the water waves shine under the sunlight, but you don't feel uncomfortable at all, but feel comfortable and far away;

3. When skiing, you don't have to worry about reflection and ultraviolet rays, you can enjoy gliding;

4. When it rains, the road traffic signs overflowing with rain clearly appear in front of your eyes;

When you are on vacation, you can enjoy the sunshine, beach and leisure time.

Matters needing attention

1. There are two kinds of polarizers: linear polarizer (linear polarizer) and circular polarizer (circular polarizer), which are used in the same way and have the same effect. However, the circular deviation can make the light pass through the filter in a circular direction instead of a straight line, which is especially suitable for cameras with autofocus system.

When using a SLR mirror, because the mirror is used in the camera, the circular polarizer can ensure the focusing accuracy.

Cheaper linear bias may affect the autofocus of some cameras during use, so if you use polarizers on digital cameras, you need to use circular bias.

2. Polarizers are generally thick, so it is best not to use them with other filters, otherwise it is easy to form black corners in the picture.

3. The polarizer itself will absorb about 75% of the light. If it is used on cloudy days, or when taking snapshots with a small aperture, it is best to stabilize the fuselage with a tripod. Because digital cameras use TTL to measure light, there is no need for exposure compensation because of the decrease of incident light.
