Cooperation and Alliance On the afternoon of 20001June 12, Shanghai International Film Festival and Cairo International Film Festival held a cooperation signing ceremony in the cinema. In the global 1 1 A international film festivals, only China and Egypt are developing countries. At the same time, both Egypt and China are ancient civilizations with thousands of years' history. It is because of this ancient civilization that the film arts of the two countries are combined. Since 1993, the exchange between Shanghai International Film Festival and Cairo International Film Festival has never stopped. After this alliance, there will be more exchanges and cooperation between the two major film festivals in the future. The two sides will cooperate in three aspects.
The first is the exchange of experience. The Cairo Film Festival and the Shanghai Film Festival can be said that one is a youth and the other is a child. Shanghai Film Festival can introduce the advanced experience of Cairo in time. The second is film exchange. For China filmmakers, the Cairo Film Festival is no stranger. Before that, many films in China participated in the Cairo Film Festival and won prizes, but few Egyptian films were shown in China. Through cooperation, more and better Egyptian films can be selected into China, more excellent works can be introduced into Egypt, and audiences of the two countries will have more opportunities to know and understand the culture and art of the other country. The third is talent exchange. There are many excellent film talents in Egypt and China. Through cooperation, more directors and actors can go to Egypt to develop. Similarly, Egyptian talents can also come to China to film and bring Egyptian civilization, history and culture to China.
Since the second session, China has sent movies to Cairo, including North War, Sparkling Red Star, Two Springs Reflecting the Moon, Three Monks, Pearl Krabs's Mao House, Old Well and furong town. In 16, The Left-behind Women directed by Hu, the youngest director of Shanghai Film Studio, won the grand prize-Pyramid Award, and the actress Xiu in the film won the Pyramid Silver Award.
