Known as "the living fossil of the world's trackers", where is the beauty of Shennongxi?

Shennongxi is a perennial stream on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Hubei Province. It originated from the south slope of Shennongjia, the first peak in Central China. It passes through the deep valley from the south, and then flows into the Yangtze River from the east of Wuxiakou at 2000 meters, with a total length of 60 kilometers.

On both sides of the stream, the mountains are towering and piled up, forming natural canyons such as Longchang Canyon, Parrot Canyon and Shennong Gorge, each with its own unique natural landscape. The deep water, waterfalls, plank roads, primitive rafts, Tujia customs and stalagmite caves in the canyon are breathtaking.

The two sides of the stream are steep and towering, cut at 80 ~ 90 degrees and continuous with the top of the mountain. The relative height difference of mountain peaks is between 300m and 1200m, and the narrow area between cliffs is only 7m. Two small mountain villages are divided into Three Gorges 20 kilometers away: Mianzhu, Parrot and Longchangdong. They have the characteristics of "danger, beauty and strength". The rock wall is not only densely covered with stalactites, but also has more than 60 caves of different sizes. Most caves have stone walls and earth barriers, leaving traces of ancient wars.

Longchang Cave is not a stone cave. It is 10 miles long and can float by boat. The swallow cave is 80 meters high and 30 meters wide. Thousands of short-beaked Jin Siyan perched on the top of the cave all the year round and flew over the depths of the canyon, bringing tourists a festive atmosphere.

Shennongxi has more than 60 beaches with twists and turns, big drop, length, speed and different beaches. The water depth is less than 0.5m, the water surface is shallow and astringent, and the bottom of the boat rubs pebbles, just like a boat ashore. The boat flies by like an arrow, which makes people feel the endless fun of fighting with nature.
