Are there any interesting places in Baoshan District?
In my impression, Shanghai has always been a high-end, upscale place, full of high-rise buildings and colorful lights.
Even if the pressure of life here is so great that ordinary people suffocate, it can't stop the yearning of strugglers, because Shanghai is really rich and interesting.
If people who have been to Shanghai want to answer what is interesting in Shanghai, most people's impressions of Shanghai tourism may still stay on the Bund, Oriental Pearl, Chenghuang Temple, Yuyuan Garden and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.
Learn more about Tianzifang, Shanghai Museum, Qibao Street, Zhujiajiao Ancient Town and so on. By the way, there are the Wu Kang Tower and the Four Stores, which have become internet celebrities.
There are many interesting places in Shanghai. Take Baoshan District, which is far away from the central city of Shanghai, as an example. There are not only striking scenery, but also familiar history.
As the "Waterway Gateway" of Shanghai, the essence of Baoshan tourism lies along the river.
No matter Wuhan, Nanjing, Jiujiang, Anqing, Jiangyin or Wuhu, whenever you visit a city along the Yangtze River, you should walk along the Yangtze River, see the ships coming and going, listen to the sound of Jiang Tao lapping at the shore and enjoy the river breeze.
For people who live by the Yangtze River all the year round, they have long been used to these scenery. For a person who seldom comes to the Yangtze River, this is not only a smart scenery, but also a short and beautiful leisure time.
Coming to Shanghai is no exception. Although Lujiazui on the Huangpu River in Shanghai is attractive enough, it always feels imperfect not to go to the Yangtze River.
Many cities along the Yangtze River have the intersection of the two rivers, and so does Shanghai. Wusongkou, located between Baoshan and Pudong New Area, is the intersection of Huangpu River and Yangtze River.
It is worth mentioning that Huangpu River is also the last tributary of the Yangtze River eastward.
To the west of Wusongkou, there is a Wusongpao Taiwan Province National Wetland Park, which is worth punching in. It used to be a place where scrap steel was piled up, and the industrial pollution was serious.
After years of careful construction, it is not only lush and tree-lined, but also swarms of migratory birds come here to live.
In the wetland park, there are many beautiful scenery. The reed beach, striking lighthouse, endless dead trees and artistic shell theater along the Yangtze River have attracted many tourists to visit.
If you like watching the sunrise, you can also come here to show a camp at night. The sunrise of the Yangtze River is accompanied by the motor sound of cargo ships and the sound of the tide, which is absolutely beautiful beyond imagination.
Along the Yangtze River in Baoshan, there is another place you have to go, Linjiang Park, where you are familiar with history and historical figures.
The well-known historical figure is Chen Huacheng. The story of the old general is mentioned in the middle school history textbook.
During the First Opium War, the British army invaded Wusongkou, where Chen Huacheng, who was 66 years old at that time, fought bloody battles with the British army and died heroically.
Therefore, Linjiang Park specially built the statue of Chen Huacheng and the Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall to commemorate the heroic deeds of the old general.
The well-known historical story is the Battle of Shanghai and Shanghai, which is the second world war since the full-scale outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. This battle can be described in one word: miserable!
As a battle in the Battle of Songhu, the Battle of Baoshan was much more tragic than the Fourth Line Warehouse.
Visiting the Songhu Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall in Linjiang Park, we can see how cruel the real war of resistance is and how hard-won peace is from the grief and indignation of the Japanese invaders when they burned and looted and the joy of the people after the execution of Japanese war criminals.
Linjiang Park looks like an ordinary citizen park, but its significance is extraordinary. It is not only suitable for history lovers to visit, but also suitable for primary and secondary school students to visit.
After leaving Linjiang Park, I came to the Yangtze River to see the river view. The Yangtze River here in Baoshan, Shanghai is so wide that I can hardly see the Yangtze River on the other side because it is near the mouth of the Yangtze River.
The land faintly visible on the other side is Changxing Island in Chongming District, and the other side of Changxing Island is the main island of Chongming Island after crossing the river.
-End-
Because Baoshan is a little far from the downtown area of Shanghai, and there are enough tourist attractions in the downtown area of Shanghai, there are not many foreign tourists coming to Baoshan.
But in fact, Baoshan is really a place worth traveling. Coming to Baoshan also made people see a different Shanghai.
