What do beginners need to prepare for photography?

First of all, you should have a professional camera, just an entry-level SLR. Photography is very practical. Without equipment and hands-on, photography will never be high.

Find one or two basic books about photography (such as the photography course of New York Institute of Photography) and learn the concepts of aperture and shutter and their relationship, exposure, ISO, depth of field and other basic knowledge.
