When going to Peng Town, don’t just know the old teahouses

Many people know the old teahouse in Peng Town. Drinking tea and taking photos give it a sense of the times. .

It’s an old house with old appliances and old decorations. Sitting on the roadside for an afternoon is not too suitable for a weekend.

What else can you do besides taking pictures? Xiao Lei specially found an indigenous friend @千千 to recommend a series of large dishes and snacks.

I have tried them all myself.

This autumn, plan a day to drink tea, bask in the sun and eat delicious food.

The Guanyin Pavilion Old Teahouse, which has a history of more than 100 years, has only been seen in photos or videos in the past.

This is really my first time to have tea on site.

There is only one kind of scented tea, a bowl of tea costs 10 yuan, and the water is boiled on a honeycomb briquette hot kang.

The uncle who sells tea said that the fire must not be cut off 365 days a year.

The kettle shows strong signs of use and has a unique style from the 1980s and 1990s.

The decoration is also very interesting, with some ornaments and paintings that feel older than me.

Occasionally, you can meet tea patrons who sing or play allegro at the front of the shop.

It really feels like dreaming back to the 1970s and 1980s.

There are only three old streets in Peng Town, almost all of them are teahouses and restaurants, or some small shops selling bamboo spices.

When you come here, don’t just look for food in these three streets.

I asked an indigenous friend in Peng Town to recommend several delicious and outstanding restaurants that are within walking distance.

Store name: Guanyin Pavilion Old Tea House

Address: No. 62, Ma Shiba Street, Peng Town

There are really many fat rice rolls in Peng Town, but they are delicious@ Qianqian and her friends recommended one to me.

It is open on the street, with people eating it front and back. It looks like a very ordinary Luo Ji Fat Rice Roll Rice.

A bowl of small portion costs 8 yuan. I was immediately shocked when it was served. There are so many pieces of sausage in such a big bowl?

Comparable to the large portion of rice rolls eaten in Chengdu.

There is a layer of cooked oil and sea pepper with sesame on top, which is extremely fragrant.

Fat rice rolls are relatively simple, and the base ingredients are very tasty.

This seasoning is not surprising at first, but the more you eat, the better it becomes. The umami flavor of the soup base must be tasted after a few more mouthfuls.

Salty and meaty.

The fat intestines are also big, the oil in the middle is well taken care of, and there is no smell.

It is said that this is a steamed rice roll that opened very early in Peng Town. It has a wave of fans among many rice roll shops.

If you come here to eat, don’t be dazzled by other fat rice roll fans, look for this one, it’s pretty ok.

Store name: Luoji Fat Rice Roll

Less than a 10-minute walk from the old teahouse, Zang Went to a very famous restaurant in Peng Town.

It is located at the end of a small alley, and there are 4 or 5 shops on the first floor next to it, all of which are their restaurants.

The dinner spot doesn’t open until 5 o’clock. When we went there a few minutes later, the waitress at the store said we had to wait until the chef finished playing cards before anyone could cook.

Good guy, it is indeed the kind of thing that old super brother can do.

You can serve cold dishes and side dishes by yourself, and they are placed on the shelf in the kitchen window. Each dish costs 6 yuan, and the portion is very good.

Before I came here, I read the reviews and said that I have eaten here many times and everything is delicious.

I specially ordered my dad’s favorite stir-fried liver and kidneys and tofu brain slices.

The taste really stands up to the challenge, and the portion is really generous, and the kidneys are all in large pieces.

The stir-fried liver and kidneys are cooked at a perfect heat, the kidney and liver slices are extremely tender, and the sauce is well done.

The taste is a little bit like the seasoning of fish-flavored shredded pork, slightly sweet and sour, with crispy lettuce underneath.

Even my dad, who is always picky about stir-fried dishes, said that this dish was really cooked to a high standard and he loved it.

I also like the brain tofu very much. It uses fresh brains and is so tender that it melts in your mouth.

The cooked oil and sea pepper used are so fragrant, a bit like the strong taste of boiled pork slices, and the minced meat enhances the taste.

Eating and eating on the go are simply amazing.

The vegetarian dishes include stir-fried sea pepper and stir-fried potato slices, which are fragrant and tasty.

Even when it comes to raking vegetables, my mother always says that she should first use lard to cook taro, potatoes, cabbage, etc., and then boil them vigorously.

The fresh aroma of vegetarian vegetables and the oily aroma of lard blend together, and it’s delicious.

We went there on a Tuesday afternoon, and people coming to eat started arriving one after another at a little after 5 o'clock.

This taste and price are indeed popular and quite good.

A little bit next to the old street, wow, there is a restaurant Tihua, when I wrote about Dongsheng before, a friend recommended that this restaurant is more suitable.

As expected, when I went to eat at 4pm, I encountered someone mentioning a big iron bucket for packaging.

The hoof flower only sells one kind of "vegetarian" type, and there is no base like kelp or snow peas.

35 a piece.

Trust me! Just arrange it according to the amount of one stick per person!

The stew is super good, not only the skin is clean, but also there is no smell at all, the whole duo is very soft and tender.

You won’t feel too greasy if you eat it directly. The gelatinous feeling of the pork trotters will come out as soon as you take a sip.

The soup only uses a little bit of pepper to enhance the flavor. It is not too thick and tastes delicious.

My mother is full of praise for their dipping sauce.

It’s not greasy at all. The cooked sea pepper and black bean sauce used as the base are spicy and fragrant, and go well with the pig’s trotters.

The hoof flower is the main product, and the rest only sells some mixed vegetables, such as fatty intestines, white meat, meat, and heart and lungs.

We ordered the pork sausage with pork sausage, which cost 45 a portion.

The cut meat/fatty intestines should be rolled several times in the simmering pork bone soup before taking it out and mixing it hot.

The taste is quite satisfactory and belongs to the category of delicious cold dishes.

The fatty intestines are chewy and are best eaten while they are hot.

If you go to an old teahouse to drink tea but don’t want to go looking for delicious food at all, don’t go to the shops in the old street to eat, just come to eat hoof flowers.

Absolutely comfortable.

There is a fly restaurant on the roadside about 2 kilometers away from the old street. , many people picked it up to eat.

The huge pot is filled with cooked white-flavored Xuewang. It costs 6 yuan for a bowl. It is the most worth eating thing in this restaurant.

All the mixed vegetables, braised vegetables, and cooked vegetables are placed on the table, and you can serve them yourself.

I arrived at about 11:30, and the shop front and the street were full of people.

In the past, I ate more red-flavoured Mao Xuewang, but it was the first dish I ate when boiled in plain water.

When scooping up the blood, first dig out a spoonful of lard from the side, then scoop in the hot blood and that's it.

Almost every dish was served.

There is no doubt that Xuewang is really good. It only has a hint of lard and is very tender.

Eat it while it’s hot. When it’s cold, the water in your blood will be lost and you’ll get older.

Boiled vegetables, stewed vegetables, and mixed vegetables are all priced at 20 each. My dad has been saying that the business is so good, mostly because it is cheap and large.

The mixed and cooked vegetables also taste good, especially the roasted potatoes + fat intestines.

Although the amount of sausage was not much, fortunately, the heat was acceptable and there was a little bit of fat left in the middle.

I prefer Heart and Lung, it’s nice and soft, and tastes like home-cooked food.

It is not recommended to order braised vegetables, it is a bit salty.

You must eat rice and drink rice soup when you come here.

The steamer rice is a serious dish. The rice has a really refreshing aroma when chewed. It is the same taste that I ate at my ancestor’s house when I was a child.

It is recommended to make 2 bowls of rice soup. It is thick and fragrant, and has a pure rice aroma. It has a good taste that cannot be made with current rice cookers.

Two stores were sold out in a row, and I almost thought this Maocai store was closed.

When I walked to the shop, I saw that it was a lower-level store on the street.

A capable maid and an old woman are doing it.

The main specialty is maocai, but when I was doing my homework, I heard that spring rolls are special, so I simply tried both.

The spring rolls are slightly different from the scallion rolls we had before in Dujiangyan, Xindu.

The spring rolls in Pengzhen are seasoned with Sichuan flavor, using a lot of seasonings + a thick layer of cooked oil and sea pepper noodles.

The overall taste is oily and spicy, with shredded cucumber and one or two shredded radish without any seasoning in the middle, which is very refreshing.

The feeling it gives me is that I am going back and forth between the feeling of bursting oil and the feeling of freshness.

You must eat the spring rolls immediately after they are ready. The skin will become soft after soaking for a while, and it will be oily if you eat it again.

Maocai actually tastes quite good, without any fancy toppings.

It is the traditional taste of bone soup + spices + sea pepper + spicy millet.

The chicken wings are delicious, tender and tasty, a little spicy.

I also went to a restaurant on the edge of Liuhe River that looked like Very delicious braised rabbit.

When I taste it, I feel that the rabbit is too ordinary. Half of it only costs 98, which is a bit expensive.

But her rabbits are pretty good, both in size and taste. They are well-braised and tasty. You can buy two of them to nibble on while drinking tea.

There are actually quite a lot of delicious food in Pengzhen.

You can eat fat sausages and smell the fragrant skewers, there is a Sichuan restaurant where the aborigines grew up snacking, and there is also a roast rabbit that is said to be very fragrant but has been closed due to the epidemic.

Coming here for a day, drinking tea, walking around the old streets, and eating in local restaurants is also a good weekend trip.

Besides, it only cost 20 yuan to take a taxi from Shuangnan, which is not bad~

Shuangliu has conquered another place. Where do you want to see next?

The comment section is waiting for you~
